hey guys. Driving up to syd for business and pleasure. Didnt want to catch a plane (boring) so decided to take my r33 for a road trip. Due to arrive in 4 hours. I need your help. I need suggestions ideas anything on where to go, what to see. Night spots and what night to give it a go etc. Also any events on? Any suggestions welcome. Staying there for a week from today. Thanks in advance boys! (and girlies)

Cops generally don't do this. They don't list all the defects even if they are obvious (in my case big turbo, blow off, cooler, pod). All they do is list few (in my case too low) and tick RWC required. RWC covers the lot, so no point in giving a 10 point defect list, waste of time. So getting a defect on top of exisitng one makes no sense to me UNLESS, they fine you, or change the conditions of the defect ie, bring the car the cop shop for inspection.

Never seen one of these on the road, but im scared. So what do they actually check/how etc. Can you explain in detail please. Cheers.

Thanks for the comments guys!! Got 3 more. If the car looks a bit different thats because the cooler and mash is painted black and car has been lowered a bit (still legal). Pictures taken with my Nokia N95. As you can see, i've figured out how to post pictures properly, so they are not too large

Yep and that's why i pulled out last minute. I just got one canary off, cant afford another one. As soon as they see a skyline, its a defect sticker. Thats basically how it works, hoon or not, driving 50 or 150 kms = sticker. By the way, once i got the sticker, i actually drove like a hoon for the whole day

My one sits on 76 on cold night. Up to 82.

You think thats noisy? You got to hear my mates 40/50. You turn the car off, have a coffee, come back and its still spinning lol

Have the same problem. Im getting the whole turbo set-up off and taking out the old bolts and putting new ones on. Costly but its got to be done, exhaust leak is terrible.

Last three day, complete turnabout. 2 days ago, random check....didnt think much of it 1 day ago, driving normally as always, through my suburb, police does a you bolt and pulls me over...Convo: Me "woow that was a quick you turn, you were after me..." Cop "hehe what do you expect driving a car like this?" Me'Ah come on not that bad " -checked my license and breatho. today-Driving normally on monash, pulled up for what i dont know...canary, too low. 4 years never had an issue..and than this.

HKS Super Sequential Blow off Valve, bolts straight on to r33s. Pretty much new $220 Twin tip muffler, brand new stainless steel twin tip muffler. Still inside the box, only taken out to take photos of it. I think inlet size is 2inch, not sure. $50 Melboure 0421 864 698, will post if need be.
