  1. yes for the twins the rb26head is alot easyier in the way u already have the manifolds for the turbos,and yes the head will fit on just as easy as the rb25 head. Clutch i rekon u should go atleast a good quality twinplate, the inlet manifold u could just keep the rb26 one as its been shown it flows very well and alot of the japanese tuning shops still use them. Then the ecu you could use anything really but youd have to look in other threads about them,they are all very good at the moment
  2. now im interested, what engine is actually off? rb25det or de also has it got VCT? and its everything expcept turbo yes? so that means manifolds etc

  5. if i was at my old work i would have used the dye as we used it all the time,but i aint gonna buy the 2 or 3 cans of it that costs like $100 for the 1 job lol im gonna reado my top pipeing anyway its too long and i really think it will reduce lag a little if i change the way it is

  8. hmmmm ill have a look tomorrow the easyiest would be to get the car under load to create boost then spray soapy water on it,maybe i should just do a burnout and get a mate to spray the water on it LOL
  9. yeah but some leaks u can only find under higher pressure like about 5psi
  10. Hey just wondering what u guys think the best way to find leaks in your pipeing as ive got some pinhole leaks that i need to find and fix once and for all. I thought about using a motorbike tube then cutting it in 1/2 then putting either end of it to the ends of the cooler pipeing then using s bike pump to pump up the air inside then see where the leaks are ya rekon this is a good idea???

Well maybe yes because of the budget but the reason there giving is cause this time of the year the roads are dangerous/wet and they want to keep the roadtoll down by taking un-roadworthy cars off the road,which i think is a great idea as long as they dont pick on us and get the REAL! shity cars of the road like the ones that are getting held together by rust and have no exaust etc
  12. i seen the thread by predator666 and thought some of u guys might like to know that there having a crack down on un-roadworthy cars this winter,thereve already started doing this in Sunbury and ive been told that the entire vic police force will be doing this, there basically looking for things like headlights,tail lights, tyres etc but i mean if yourve got a smart ass cop then he might start getting ppl for pod filters, fmic and exausts etc. I know im pretty safe in Sunbury as i think im the only 1 car with a FMIC and the coppers dont even know what a turbo is,but for u guys over the other side of town be carefull Just a warning guys
  13. VPW mailorder, there in epping but deliver to your door and yes they come with brackets but there kinda crappy so im making better ones also i had to go buy some hose and some fittings but that cost me like $20, and the catch can was $90 soooo its all good alot cheap than the cusco ones

    i might actually go look this friday,i dont wanna pay the money cause usually only get 3 runs like Al said,i just wish we had another sunday drag day that we went to that was MAD!! and r31nismoid and me had about 15 runs each when every1 had left
  17. i actually havnt found that yet joel but i rekon it be a t4 flange from what ive seen in photos, but im making a custom manifold anyways soo doesent worry me

  19. remember thats n/z prices dennis, the piston and rings over here will cost u $320 for non turbo pistons, but $350-380 for better chromeoly rings actually the prices are probably more than that cause there my prices from work

  22. all ive found out is that ppl that go aftermarket cams/larger cams get rid of the vvt and get Adjustable cam gears to tune them better. Bigger cams for me isnt a option its going to get done as its for free soo yeah
