one thing that pisses me of about the mccr forums is that when some1 like me or some1 less known in the club posts in the tech section asking a question theres maybe a few replys,but when some1 like mark or the admins posts,every1 wants to suck upto him or something and he gets like 100000 posts helping him. Also the cop thing pisses me off,like when they said were inviteing the cops to a open cruise so they can see that we dont do any illegal stuff,and what happends when every1 turns up? Theres like 10 cop cars and a booze bus and they are going through everycar in the parking lot, i was just lucky that my hilux or skyline wasnt there otherwise id be stuffed

u have to find out yourself if its got ceramic wheels or not,cause theres both in the vg30turbo range, Max boost id say around the 16psi mark with some good tuning and a fmic, but i rekon the turbo could take a little extra 2-3psi for short little bursts. And yes if u dont get the dump pipe with the turbo then you will have to get a dump pipe and your front pipe changed to suit, but if u get the dump with it,any exaust shop will be able to cut and shut a new flange to suit the new vg30 dump pipe. Also u might have to get some Bundi pipe and some fittings from a Hose/Hydraulic store hope that helps

one thing thats good when u have a front mount cooler is to instead of moutning the BOV in the engine bay,hide it underneath the panels where the pipeing goes thats where ill put mine when i can be bothered to put it back on again

ive got either a gts or gts-x and ive got elec drivers seat,split fold back seat,all the buttons for the radio etc, auto climate control,i HAD! a gts-r spoiler on it,but i sold it, and ive got the buttons for the elec spolier but it must have been ripped off years ago

im no mechanic but i work in spare parts at Crow Cams so i get to learn alot off the guys there,especially because we do alot of work for companies like JPC,Rajabs and other big companies like Fords and holden. Also i didnt even know what a skyline was 2 years ago LOL no i just cant get enough of them but yeah theres a alot of really cluey people in here and we should thank them all

inark the cheapest way to do it is get under the car with a tape measure,and measure it between the welds of the resonator,but add about an extra 40mm either side,then goto your local exaust shop get a piece that length in 3" pipeing and get them to flare it out both ends to fit OVER 3" pipeing then take off your exaust at home cut the resonator off then put that peice in and weld it up and thats how u do it for free (thats if the exaust place isnt a tightass and gives u that little peice for free)

the reason my car ran lean the last dynoe run i had was because they pulled out the vacumn line to fuel reg therefore it leaned out up top,i havnt actually put it back on the dyno yet,i might actually do it next week sometime,but usualy on the dyno the car runs very rich like 9.8 to 1 but it usually hovers around the 10.1 mark which is just tooooo much fuel. Oh and the chip im using is 1 that came with the car from japan but Dr Drift (sam) can tune it easily now and he can do all rb20's so i suggest u ask him about chips

yups its a redtop eccs rb20det with pod,3" exaust, fmic with 2 1/2" piping and a chipped ecu. And im only getting 139rwks but had to back off cause it was running lean (long story) but im still wanting more and to get anymore out of the rb20 ill have to spend money where as the rb30/25 will make a heap more usable power for less money

i was driving around last night and noticed that i actually get full boost in first buy 2900 and a little lower in 2nd etc,so really thats no bad at all for a vg30 turbo

ive got a 3" exaust all the way its just the cat i need to change,and i got a price today they wanted $240, any1 know of any cheap places around?

i was really thinking about it,and it must do alot to the whole flow,therefore it probably would get rid of some lag also, and maybe pickup a few extra kws

Just wondering if this would do any difference? Well when i put on the vg30 turbo i had to make up a new front pipe,i made it out of 3" with 1 mandrell bend where it goes underneath the car, anyways at the time i had to quickly get it on the road all i did was weld the factory cat convertor inplace instead of putting in a 3" cat,so really the exaust is stock 3" vg30 dump pipe,then 3" front pipe with 1 mandrell bend,then the 2 1/2" gutted cat,then the 3" catback exaust that came on the car from japan. Now the flanges as some of u might know is only 2 1/2" or something like that, Now my question is would this do much to stop the flow of exaust? cause i was this week sometime just gonna put a peice of 3" pipe in there and rip out the cat,only take me 30mins to do and yes i know about the legalities so yes i might go get a 3" straight flow cat if there not to expensive. thanks

either the vg30 or the rb25 turbs are good and cheap, but you might wanna look around for a hks turbo or something as there prettty cheap at the moment and would be alot better
