  1. So in an effort to bring a professionally run Time Attack event to Vic, Jason (who's topstage rx7 you may know) has put some skin on the line to promote VTA. It's interesting as the big WTAC draws competitors from all over, while the smaller VTA and NSWTA struggle to get entries. So with VTA for 2016 there is a demo/testing class, which for $250 you get access to the track and a huge amount of testing time. It's looking like 4-5 groups on the day, so break that down into 12 minute sessions and you'd expect 7 sessions atleast. Yes, yes Time Attack cars come with oil. I think you'll find the teams that are coming for VTA won't bring those issues. If we do the WAP oil soak machine will be on-hand to clean things up quickly. For $250 you get access to the demo/testing class. Yep bit more expensive than a PIRAC day, but there are only going to be 50-60 cars, not 100+. Yes it's a Friday, which is a little odd. But value for money track time, this day has it down pat. This offer is available to anyone, so if you know anyone wanting to do testing let them know. Oh and it's a 95db day. http://victimeattack.com.au/entry-forms/

  3. Z221 mediums seem to be working well on the GTR. Very sumilar times to the soft.
  4. Discussions going on in the background about an SAUVIC group. There negatives to this of course, with vast lap time difference. However most of us know what times we do, so as long as we exit the pit in that order there shouldnt be any issues. Plus its not all about times, it's fun battle on track as well.
  5. Either Nord locking washers from https://www.blackwoods.com.au/ or Stage 8 locking from http://gcg.com.au/turbo-parts/stage-8-fasteners
  6. Just to clarify, this was posted in the motorkhana thread. Not applicable for this event.
  7. With very limited numbers available this is not a come n try day. However for this event you will only need a CAMS L2(J) license as a minimum. Come n Try (Level 1) license are only available once a year per person who hasn't had any other CAMS license previously.
  8. Ah ok. Bummer. But good it was fixed close to home.
  9. Clicked over a new pb at Sandown, with a 1.18.38
  10. Thanks to Kal for grabbing this short video. Plan on doing more in pit video through the year.
  11. Just to clarify for the results car 49 is Paul Stephenson. I forgot to update timing with a couple of the number changes during sign-on.
  12. Just playing, you're all good. Who are you sharing with though?
  13. No SAU garage for this one, as we are running the day. SAU will be everywhere!
  14. That was a fat finger error. You can enter via CAMS again now. Or use the SAU Vic entry system.
  15. This is the perfect event for you. Most other CAMS related days don't have the level of introduction and 'social' aspect, at the moment. A few of the clubs are starting to introduce more, this day is full on social all day (and a little more serious for those who are into that). If you have a standard radiator and no oil cooler, you can still come along. You just have to take that into account. Don't run the whole session at full speed, do a couple of laps then back right off. We'll couch you on the day. Everyone started somewhere, my start was in a very street driven car. You find out pretty quick the limit of the standard equipment.
