Same as the timed sessions. Clothing ankle to wrist, fire extinguisher in the car, helmet. -
Had the left side of the engine bay out over the weekend replacing the exhaust manifold gasket. Which had blown out 1,2 and 6 cyl. However once we got the manifold off, we opted to change that as well. The one that was on there had never been swaped out, so 19yrs of service. The last 3 pretty much all track days. Another standard manifold has gone back on.

Variety on tap this year.

Vic - Bride Cuga Seat

Still stilling in the living room. Will fit a recaro or bride rail. -
Bride cuga style seat. Good strong copy. Very good condition. $200 Bought for my S15, sold the car before fitting seat and forgot about it. Has been in storage for a couple of years.

You think it's half, we've been playing with 1/3 less life and 1/4 less cost. I find the ao50 is a more progressive tyre under foot. Life through the tyre seems similar, if anything the ao50 still works until all the tread is gone, while the Z221 falls of a cliff before it looses it's last tread patches. The GTR has C50 Z221 on it for this year, interested to see the lap pace comparison.

Phillip Island is very harsh on tyres. The C70 got Chris's GTR 4-5 track days.

R33 gtst heater core No leaks $50

It's prefered. For circuit racing it's mandated, for sprint days the rules are relaxed. If it's not marked it take longer to recover the car.
-
R33 GTST NISMO clear indicators Slight mark on one of them, see pic. $50 pp
-
For GTST rear GTR sized gaurds in fibre glass. $200 Never fitted. Small crack in the glass, see pic.

The Thursday before the track day is best. We'll end up doing entries on the day if we don't get the 80 cars max. But entries on the day slow sign-in, which slows the whole day a little. -

We're expecting 3-4 groups of timed cars. Groups are anywhere from 10-16 cars. It all depends on numbers on the day. -

I've run a justjap kit for years. No doubt a $1000 kit might perform better, but for $350 the justjap kit works well. If you do get the justjap kit, Teflon tape all the fittings. -

Then prepare your ears for tyre squeal and bulk understeer, or has it still got the oem suspension package? -

Badically, if head screwed on. They'll have a chance of getting into the timed groups.
