  1. nice 32 in the garage mate, looks exactly the same as mine =)
  2. yeah, the guy just gave me a failed inspection form and told me to go home and get rid of it then come back and try again... geez...thats tough..all that gluey residue, especially when ur as thorough as me, dont wana get any scratchs or leave any glue marks... dont wana risk it, getting auto perfection to pull it off like in 20mins lol
  3. so i went to lonsdale to get my r32 inspected (vic -> sa) and of all the things i could possibly get picked up for...window tinting... 'too dark on the rear quarters and the whole rear window'.....silly stuff, guess im back to peeling...
  4. Soz guys i couldnt make it last night (indoor soccer training...ugh) after skimming thru most of the posts posted last night/today perhaps constructive criticism should be PM's to Kellie? so that no one else wastes time posting needless comments on here? +1 for the pay $20 or so, to show your interest in the club, coz if this is going to be non-profit etc... members need to fund events themselves and advertise a bit. (bbq day sounds like a great idea, not too sure about turnout tho, if say 20 odd people show up that would be $400ish towards the club which would immensly help the organisers) i think now its time for the ppl deeply involved to look at legalities maybe? and for me, a keen future member, to show up to these events.!! and as far as name for the club...can be still left undecided for now, not a big issue currently...funding should be. no fund, no club. simple as that. last thing, if ppl are willing to spend their own time helping out the club, whether its organising or whatever should be able to do so, despite not owning a nissan skyline. just my opinion =) p.s. ima be there for the BBQ, will be good to finally meet some other skyline/nissan enthusiasts =)
  5. nide ride, i think i saw this at ET a few weeks back when i was getting my 32 upto scratch =)
  6. nice white 34 on kintore in city this arvo black 34 and white 33 with decals on jetty rd glenelg 10mins ago
  7. -> stevep despite a few point written were not one we all wanted to hear, but its just reality and steves got some good points. descisions need to be made about numerous things and need to be 'dead set' rather than 'flexible' however, with all the good feedback from most SAU members, it looks like this club might just be worthwhile! (edit) perhaps at the meeting, find some willing volunteers with different skills/professions/experience to put it all together?
  8. 10/10 I want one NOW!
  9. -> damageinc i like the SAU.SA, the second blue S adds a nice touch, perhaps insert (WWW.SKYLINESAUSTRALIA.COM) like Damo's logo underneath?
  10. awesome logo Damo, i was thinking something similar to the SAU logo but with the 'A' to make SA to the right of the 'S' and as far as costs go, someone good with maths should work it out enough to cover events etc
  11. yeah its prolly easier to chat on msn lol very keen on this working out +add me [email protected] =)
  12. +1 for SAUSA its short and im sure most people can figure out what i stands for and its easier to say than RB MOTORSPORTS and SAUSA lets people know that its from SA at least, unless they get confused with USA...then thats just silly (edit) if RubyRS4 says that there might be a stag club similar to this one, then maybe there is no need to make exceptions for cars other than the skyline? a pure skyline club, no one else, possibly? just a suggestion, not trying to be biased also, for all who have RB- engine conversions that isnt a skyline, would their membership rely on the sole discretion of the director/president?
  13. not watching the new atm, is it severe? or just injuries? hope its not a speeding incident
  14. Im guessing a more specific group of cars like skylines rather than mixed group of different makes and models? just having a guess here Im new on here and everything so im fairly keen on joining a skylines car club or whatever club is formed from this thread, ive had a look at others like clubpsi but thats more general makes and models. I'd personally prefer a club only for skylines, say, in saying that i mean no disrespect to others without skylines. sounds like its guna be fair sweet, great idea.
  15. Hey guys, any more free spots available and if so where should i sign up? (sorry if ive missed the weblink coz ive skipped straight to this page) Got a 93 r32 gtr silver very very stock cheers (+edit) found the site on the first page, duh! and applied
  16. I guess that most of us on the forums are the real car enthusiasts or else why join a forum if your only keen on hooning around? thats just my point of view. +1 for having a good communication link with SAPOL through Neil keep the defectable cars off the road, saves trouble and lives.
  17. money is everyones friend
  18. im thinking one row...but then how would i know i dont lotto...waste of money me thinks good luck tho
  19. sorry for your loss, cant bear to feel that pain, but hope youre alright its heaps tempting when you drive a powerful car skylines, wrxs etc, but sometimes its better to keep dragging to the strip and not on the roads, as many have already mentioned.
