  1. Yeah the sound you get when you take it off or have straight intake is the turbulence through the intake. It then sounds "tough" but it slightly slows air intake and thats why we have them. But if you have straight intake and high flow filters the gains out weigh the small losses you get from taking out the resonators.
  2. Wow your keen. Good Luck. got my Kenstyle kit from them. Yeah i had problems with it too.
  3. So i'm guessing that your going to cut up the grille?
  4. Yeah helps keep engine nosie down.
  5. Don't know which one is "BEST" but i got the Skunk2 Plemun Spacer becasue it is the easiest to put in. Just do it yourself with this http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread/274245 This guy has V1.0 you would get V2.0 (easier to put in) Call Adam from http://www.999automotive.com.au/contactus.html (07) 3272 9992
  6. Why do you need a spare one? i thought you are getting a new kit?
  7. I think the culb oz is to small and hard to read. i like the bold font better.
  8. Mine is 70th An i don't have it
  9. stay away from. it screams YELLOW STICKER!!
  10. Because i didn't reset my ECU after i put the mods on it took about a hours worth of driving before the computer had optimized it's self with the mods. When i put the JWT filter on the sound change was instant. "Is it worth it?" Is any of this stuff we do to ours cars worth it? I don't think so But i like to do it and that's what it's all about
  11. Yeah i did a before test. 163kw at the wheels and thats STOCK
  12. 177KW at the wheels. best run was 178kw but could not get 2 runs the same
  13. Because the Z-tube is plastic heat soak is not bad at all and some people don't put the heat sheild on over the pod filter and that then sucks heaps of hot air in. Skunk2 spacer is the easiest to put on. Don't know about the high flow cat (look under the car does it looks differnet to others?) Strut Brace then ECU upgrade is the next thing for me My body kit looks good "Ken Stlye" Custom paint or Turbo/Supercharger will be on the list if money comes my way.
  14. $400 for a spacer $400 for JWT filter and Z-Tube $60 for clear side markers i have over priced
  15. You will not get the whitlsing sound from the K&N drop in filter. Combo of the spacer and JWT on my V35 was a total of 15kw gain to the wheels. But I do need to re-tune the ECU to get full benifit from my mods. Watch my vid to hear the JWT filter with Z tube and Spacer.
  16. I hear that it works by you pressing 20% down on the peddle and it does 30% more so it "feels" like your zipping around. But thats just what i hear don't know if its true
  17. Where is this located? Looks the same a your park lights and rear liecense plate lights.
  18. Yeah someone posted something about this before, "oily spark plugs" can't remember where i read it.
  19. Jealouse of "L8RSXY" I think i now need a custom paint job too
  20. it's not lifters? drivetrain? is nothing loose? i was a fool and didn't lock tight my plemun blots and they came loose. Could be lots of things. Video would help
  21. Got an email form the people i am buying mine from and they said they are re-shipping them to me. So i'm out sorry
  22. Yeah lets get it out there. $100 i'll pay right now
  23. Wonder if this would make a difference (The “Sprint Booster”, is the perfect solution to solve the laggy of drive-by-wire system) http://www.999automotive.com.au/products/sprintbooster/sprintbooster.html
  24. This is your best shot for sure. i want one of my car
  25. Those driving shots look great. Love seeing the V in motion. Hey got my Doors/Windows fixed, well close enough that i can drive to Perth with no problems. Should we plan another cruise for next month? Does anyone know people in the WA car magazine industry? Would be pretty cool to have a story and photo shoot about the V35's
