either one of you consider swaps for a r32 GTS non turbo, rb25de, 2.5inch cat back exhaust to a 3.5inch tip, splitfires, Clarion sound system, gtst diff, just had gates timing belt kit and new water pump installed, new crank angle sensor, new alternator, injectors cleaned, got a apexi pod with cold air cover.. sideskirts, king springs. let me kno, i can get picks, i will consider a cash adjustment your way aswell if either one of u is keen?

Loved the story of the 'Tong' noise hahaha i can just imagine that.. i would probly laugh pretty hard. i remember once me and a mate were driving along at like 2am in a r32 and he hit a possum but he swerved around it but still hit its leg, the poor thing was hobbling to the side of the road, then a commodore came flying around the corner, we were on the road jumping around pointing to drive on the other side of the road so he didnt hit it, instead he turned right towards us and the possum and ran over it.... the thing like flew up in the air and just inflated... there was only some blood and internals hanging out its mouth, but it was all full of air.... haha like a puffer fish kinda thing, just inflated...poor possum, but f**k it was funny haha

i just spoke to my old boy then he went and saw my car today when i was at work. the mechanic said when he disconnected the alternator... the missfire wasnt present... car went well, when he hooked it up there was a miss.. he said the alternator is working but having peaks of power. and the ecu is like wtf? and losses it for abit, that when the problem comes ... but stil im not convinced. Also the miss gets smaller and smaller the warmer the car gets.. he redlined it today after it had been running for awhile, and there was a very minor misfire at like 6500.... when its cost it can rev over 1500-2000 without jerking around. WTF i just wont this shit to fk off haha

yeh the mechanic is using a snapon computer thing. If he cant fix it with this alternator thing he recons it is, im ganna go thru the elemination process on the smaller things, like loom, afm, so on as you said daz but then if im still lost ... ill take it to a specialist in this area.

hes just a normal mechanic down the road from me. not a specialist in imports or anything. I dont think its the alternator... i really dont, but he has one of those Snap-on error detector thingos, and its readying a problem with the signals to the ecu or sumshit... so im not to sure wats going on, if this doesnt solve it ill take it to marty when hes off holidays. Probably a good thing i changed the cam angle sensor anyway, its was sooooo f**ked haha both bearings where ceased and the disk and sensor where both f**ked.

totally agree with mad082... for once I'm looking at getting a set of HSD HR coilovers soon, or Ksports, i think it'll be worth the $$, and in the long run will save you money... but then again i use my car for drifting and road use aswell.. so i need that extra element.

i kno its so fkd. I havnt tried the ecu thing yet, would one from a rb25de neo be the same, i got a mate with a 34... or one from a rb20de? are they all simular? update: he said it is the alternator playing up... now i dont see how this would be the case, he recons it isnt giving enough to the computer or ecu, and that isnt able to support the igniter pack and all that... wtf? i was checking ur gtr out today daz cus my cars at yates automotive across the road there.

dont know if i will be able to make the cruise anymore Turns out putting in a reconditioned cam angle sensor didnt solve my problem. car still wont rev over 2g. Hes running it through the computer thing again today to see if it picks up any other errors. Makes me pretty pissed off, he was 100% this was ganna fix the problem, didnt do shit. now i gota pay for the new part, which didnt fix anything, and his labour, which didnt do shit, and now more labour to find the problem. f**king joke. I might have it by the weekend, but im unsure.
