hi Chris,yes/yes ran it around block slowly, seems sort of ok.hard to tell. It changed gear a couple of times,once a bit rough.brakes also seem just a bit rough.hard to explain.

got in m35 tonight to drive it.Turned on ignition. A W D LAMP COMES ON (STAYS ON) A T LAMP LIGHTS UP " A B S LAMP ALSO COMES ON WITH A SLIGHT HUM HEARD WITH IT. GEAR DISPLAY SHOWS WHEN TURNING ON BUT GOES OUT WHEN PUTS CAR INTO GEAR. LOW BEAM LIGHTS COME ON WITHOUT TOUCHING CONTROL.(WONT CHANGE TO HIGH BEAM, BUT TURNS OFF WITH IGNITION) This is beyond my tired old brain.Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I asked the question on dec 20 about removing /replacing xenon globes on m35.. It was easy through the wheel arch on drivers side. passenger side easier through top end.

guess i'll find out in about 12 months

naa, i bought philips originals from u.s $87 landed per pair.

not too many cuts,scrapes,went by inner guard,and topside for passenger side.Thanks for your help

Hi, despite trolling through all the info on xenon globes a cant seem to find any info on how to actually remove /replace them on a m35. Has anyone done it? Is it a simple job or is as a friend of mine suggested ,like the v35 which apparently took him 2-3 hours to do.? I'd appreciate any assistance.

spotted in Mooloolaba on the esplanade, a pearl blue m35 with bikes on roof rack. Waved but i couldn't see any response or who was driving .this was about 11-11.30 today.

my m35 acheived regularly 650-700 ks out of a tank cruising mainly 110-115 kph over 5000ks sunny coast - melbourne and many places in between including up to mt hotham -bairnsdale-moe. around the sunny coast 550-600 per tank 50/50 city-country driving.

"four" it is a 2.5litre naturally aspirated a.w.d m35 (non turbo)

alas i have just been overruled by my other half.She somehow thinks that a dinner invite from her son (albeit at late notice)takes precedence over a stagea meet.Many apologies.If you still feel you could get together i have most days free and next saturday or monday nights. I had Chris Rogers install double din JVC DVD player with bluetooth and i pod adaptors.Brilliant!!! Chris also fitted cruise control which i tried out between Aspley and Caloundra.Perfect!!! Highly reccommend Chris Rogers for all work such as this.
