Spotted maroon R32 parked nearish to tongue and groove, walked past as the driver and his girlfriend (i assume) got in and were leaving.

I'll be getting mine fixed up at Capital Collision in Fyshwick unless someone else can suggest somewhere better (was originally suggested on the forums in the first place anyway). Went there and the guy I spoke to was helpful, looks like they do a good job. He'll get paint matched as well, and remove/fit the bar.

The plastic bracet that holds the bonet release handle above your right leg when in the drivers seat...mine is broken What are the chances of finding one? lol, it's not DESPERATE, but currently it's held in place with some zip-ties...the cable may also need replacement, as it feels very tight when you pull the handle, though that's more than likely caused by the current setup. If you have one spare and don't mind parting with it, name your price Thanks.

How much would a lock setup set me back? That's what I'd assumed, as soon as it's dead, replace with a lock.

I do have an aftermarket wheel on, HKS boss kit. it hasn't done it to me before, and after pulling in at Mittagong for about half an hour, it didn't do it again all the way back to Canberra. I'll pull all the plugs out and make sure they're clean of dirt etc, might pull the wheel off too and do the same. Thanks for the input tho

i turned the car off for a good 10 mins, then started it again and got off down the highway...the light stayed off for about 5 mins, then came back on again...with the r33 system having electronic actuators, doesnt it set itself to a centralised position and stop doing anything when it detects a problem?

currently highway driving, not turning or anything, and the HICAS warning came on. What problems could it indicate? Knowing my luck its either the sensor has failed, or it wont come back on when i start driving again... Thanks

While we're all pointing out how we want to be a stronger community and push this bullsh*t out of the pool of "socially accepted f*ckery", I'd like to put my 2c in If you, or anyone you know, at any point feels as though they need help or company when out late at night, or any time for that matter I'm more than happy to raise my hand as someone you can hit up. If you think dodgy bastards are hanging around your car, don't want to walk somewhere by yourself, are currently being harassed, or just simple NEED a lift somewhere, call or SMS me. If I'm nearby (like within 15 minute drive) and not busy with anything important, I'm happy to oblige. If it's a serious matter, I've got a bloody big list of contacts in my phone - most of whom are happy to help anyone, let alone myself - and we're on the job. If it's a STOLEN CAR, be it this Supra or ANY car, call the cops, call your mates, call me - we'll make sure it goes nowhere. I'm nothing myself, I can talk big if I really want to, but in most cases I'd very much like to not need to back it up (not that I couldn't ), but as Helious has pointed out: strength in numbers. Yeah the only thing that gives me a sadface about the purple GTS-T I picked up is the sun damage on the roof thankfully I hit up Allards this arvo to get a small tin of paint matched for touchups, so I know what colour to ask for when I get around to having it resprayed

Spotted Gunmetal r32 on the highway going south past hume, tried to keep up but my shitty cloud just doesn't cut it (white VL commonwhore)

the mod plate isn't the compliance plate, it's like an engineer's cert. constantly stamped to your car under the bonnet from what i've gathered. Having said that, Dickson told me it's more or less meaningless to them, I'd more than likely need an engineers cert anyway. So I'm gonna end up taking it to Ray once I get it anyway, like you said, it will be worth it down the road when I hit a random inspection.
