  1. ^^ this guy, officially the biggest balls in SAU!
  2. video is unavailable duncan..still processing post upload? nice to see you on here Rorge, some epic driving there. Love your run it into the ground attitude as i pretty much do the same thing.. heres a shot post cone strike on my last run.
  3. anyone get vids of the dirty smoking MX5 that turned up near the end of the day to rip heaps of skids but also some stupid fast times? that guy sure made up for the late arrival.. heres my Facebook gallery http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.105512412921187.7199.100003872861196&type=3 no action shots as it was just me walking around the pits in between runs but almost every car should be there.. (also add me to FB ya kents!)
  4. Screw you man... i had lag issues... freakin micras @#%#%^^%^ yeah i want that, how much are those going for now?
  5. oh yeah how could i forget, collected one on my last run out..nice long crack in my front bar thanks to one of the most solid and unyeilding cones of death i have ever had the misfortune to come across..
  6. hey guys, loving the pics and vids, keep em coming. I will be back in sydney after a little more poking around in Canberra tomorrow night and will upload all mine then. Nice to finally meet a few more forum peeps today and have a quick blast around the track. Confirmed my love for track days as im an impatient bugger but it helps when everyones so easy going and chatty when you need to pass the time in between runs. Was a little disappointed with my lap times but im happy to blame it on cold tyres, a big laggy turbo and basically anything other than poor driving! Either way i had a great time and hope someone posts some shots up of me getting mega sideways on the way up the hill, i also wanted to be braver going over the jump but lost my bottle when i saw James car come in after some 'mad air' (i overheard this on the radio) with a few pieces missing and a few more cracks on the windscreen.. seeing the above video justifies my conservative approach. not sure where my time can be made up but launching is definitely a big issue as pointed out by Dave etc. Thank god that wakefield etc doesnt care how fast you can get it off the line.. anyway, more pics. more stories and definitely more events like this please!
  7. ^ nice not sure about 210 being that much, track costs about as much to hire as it did when it was the full circuit and i dont remember paying less than 300 very often. Its only really missing 4 or so corners compared to back in the day and has a longer second straight now, looking forward to it big time!
  8. kept half asking Steve tonight if we ended up with the numbers to do another one of these things, sure hope so. He would then burst out in laughter at some ribald joke someone or another had made and im pretty sure half of Canberra had to hear us giggling away as we drank the only pub for miles dry of all its finest lager. Good times folks. and i havent even turned a wheel in anger yet..
  9. just realised the fees not front and centre weevil $210 for non HSV or NSCC members, 190 for members but how many folks in here other than brett and i pay forty bucks a yr to more than one club? I do it coz two track days a year just aint enough...living life. One minute and 12 or so seconds at time brah.. lol @ wrecksies and emos MLR, yeah we should make short work of them. I like to think im ballsy enough to find the limits of my 33 on the straight, corners are going to be ...interesting.
  10. from what i have seen in vids and at the drift days it looks pretty epic. 2 straights, a few big looping corners, what more can you ask for? (until the GP track is done of course)
  11. lol posted image? farken
  12. good to see this thread had some results, looking forward to seeing you guys there! ( yeah even the 33 hiding in the car park..)
  13. well spotted Matt...earlier departure time so we can do bells?
  14. bit late for that, looks like we are getting a late rush on sutton road anyway. Hopefully can do another one day! yeah Eastern will be mega fast, lots of room for skylines to stretch their legs. Going to be 8 or so groups of cars, ten minutes each group. Going from 9 am to 5pm so plenty of time i guess, plus a lot of the HSVs will have broken down by lunch..
  15. it freakin better, im giving up sunday rates for this!
  16. so how many does that make? including me..booked it yet?
  17. Well im going and i have signed up at least two other SAU peeps, with a third about to confirm his. That leaves about 7 places left. Im in the NSCC as well and these guys run an awesome track day, always a quick turn around of the groups to get you straight back out on the track and no stuffing around in the morning. Its all about maximum enjoyment of your car in perfect conditions. K go!
  18. +1 mine sometimes wants me to come to bed BEFORE i have rechecked all the threads i am posting in for new comments WTF woman?!

  23. great shot benny, looks pretty sideways or is that just you getting back onto the track? how do you end up on the inside at that section of wakefield? lol
  24. i drive a fifteen yr old GTSt, you drive an N1...last thing you need to learn from me is 'how to profit' from anything
  25. moves around too much on your head doesnt it? used it a few times for bike rides but since i had my third bike nicked and gave up on getting a new one the strappy thing has just lain there...along with my old Sony VX1000 and panasonic 3chip camera. Still have thousands of hours on DV tape to work out how to upload and edit one day too. FML anyway love the new shots in here, especially that fiesta, not sure i have seen one of those IRL. where did u find it Richie? goddamn i love Fish eye lenses..will be my first purchase along with an SLR..
