  1. Yeah, I went past it too, there were firies there, and there were cops and ambulances arriving as i drove past.
  2. Thanks to all the organisers and everybody involved in putting on the event, was a great day despite the shitty weather.
  3. installed front and rear cusco strut braces today, feels a bit better through the corners now
  4. silver c34 parked in engadine this morning
  5. Thats how I ran mine
  6. Not much of a photo, but thats where I have mine. I personally haven't had any cop trouble for it, but im pretty sure its defectable in most states having it there. Up to you if you want to risk it i guess
  7. For my conversion (32 gtr box into S1 RS4) I used the spigot bush that came in this kit, theres no part number listed for the bush, but you could probably email him and find out what one it is. http://www.kudosmotorsports.com/catalog/nissan-seal-kit-gearbox-genuine-nissan-skyline-r32-gts4-gtr-r33-gts4-gtr-r34-25gt4-rb20det-rb25de-rb26dett-inc-neo-p-548.html
  8. It's actually a really strong double sided tape, I think. I still have little bits and pieces stuck on the car, tried a few things to get it off but without much success
  9. I'm in, should be a great day!
  10. Stock fronts are 320x32 from memory For anyone who has done this conversion, how did you go with brake lines? Did you have to get custom ones made up? I dont think I have seen any mention of it in this thread
  11. This, although in my case the exhaust noise is normally louder than the wind noise anyway.
  12. Did an oil and filter change today, also did the spark plugs. Seems to be a bit smoother at idle now after doing the plugs so thats nice.
  13. My mate and I were both considering it, but what isnt mentioned on the spreets site, is that its another $350 for a non-driving passenger. Something to keep in mind for anyone who is thinking about it. http://www.sportscarrentals.com.au/drive-days/sports-car-drive-day-spreets-deal-gosford-route
  14. I'd be keen for front and rear AWD swaybars, anyone got recommendations for which thickness to go for on the rear one?
  15. Yeah it happens to me every now and then, It's wierd because some pages will be timing out as it tries to load them, but others will load pretty much instantly, at the same time. So it doesnt seem to be dropping the internet connection or anything. And then a couple of seconds later, if you refresh the page that was timing out, it will load straight away. I don't think its a chrome specific problem either, I remember it happening with other browsers.
  16. Saw a silver S2 C34 with a giant front mount behind me on Heathcote road, just before the turn off to the M5 yesterday morning. I waved, he beeped
  17. Yeah the photo was pretty bad lol, only realised once i saw it on the computer screen. I had seen those photo's before, the G-sensor doesnt look like it will be too bad to move to that position, but it seems that your airbag sensor is still in the factory position. Will be taking a look at it over the weekend anyway. And yeah, the drink holders wont interfere with gear changes at all by the looks of it.
  18. Saw a white M35 on the back of a car transporter at Sutherland today, didn't see much but it was low with a big bodykit. Also about half a dozen stageas in the Autosport workshop.
  19. Picked up the car from the mechanics after the manual conversion, managed to get it out of their driveway after stalling it 3 times Haven't driven it much yet, but it was driving so well on the way home. I will need to either move the G sensor and airbag sensor that is under the centre console, or cut the bottom out of the cup holder and centre console box. The mechanic wasn't too keen on moving the sensors, but I am sure that other people have done that without any problems. So anyone who has done it, any advice on that would be welcome. Had a package arrive just after I got back as well, nismo gearknob, clear indicators and centrecaps for the wheels had arrived from Japan, so i stuck them all on. Was good to get rid of the shitty SCA universal gearknob (which wasnt universal at all) that was currently in the car as well, as it was only on there to be used until the nismo one arrived. Car is sitting noticeably higher without the auto gearbox in it as well
  20. Dropped the car into the mechanic for manual conversion this morning, should be all nice and manual when i pick it up in a day or 2. Cant wait!
  21. Car is looking awesome dude, time for a new gf though?
  22. I dont know whether the RS4-S is an R33 GTR or a GTS-4 gearbox, or if there is even a difference between the two. It's definitely not an R32 item though. I cant remember the exact price off the top of my head at the moment, I bought the seal kit and clutch from www,kudosmotorsports.com, as well as a couple of other bits and pieces. Remember that push type clutches are cheaper than pull type though, so you will probably have to pay a little bit more for whatever clutch you choose
  23. Is your donor car a factory manual (RS4-S) or is it an auto that was converted? If it's an RS4-S the gearbox will be pull type. You should be able to use the flywheel from the donor car without any problems. I dont know whether the flywheel bolts differ from auto or manual, but I would be going brand new ones from nissan anyway, rather than reusing old ones. As for your other parts, looks like you have most of it covered. You will also need the manual footrest, and the rubber boots around the gear shifter. I'm going to be doing the conversion very soon, here is my parts list if you want to look at it Manualconversionpartslist.pdf
