That's interesting, I wouldn't have thought there would be room in the wheel well for something much bigger than a space saver -

Yeah, its for a stagea, however I am converting mine to manual. The accelerator should fit fine, however the stock stagea automatic brake pedal is a fair bit bigger than a manual one. Clutch pedal is from a manual stagea, which should be identical to an R34 one i believe. And I will need to replace the footrest with an r33 or r34 one as well. I can't say for sure, but I think it should be straightforward to fit these pedals to a 260RS stagea, or an RS4-S pretty easily, as they are both manual models.

Is it possible to get a slightly cheaper price with more people? Seems like this is gonna be pretty popular

Edward Lee's? Almost got sucked into buying a 180sx from them early last year, came to my senses before spending the money though. So many bad stories about a lot of the places on parramatta road though, most of them are as bad as each other.

Parting Out 2000 S2 Stagea Manual

shotgun the clutch pedal bracket if you part it all out -
Yup, FAST is the best way to know for sure as the other guys have said. Another indicator its not the real deal, is if in the middle of your cluster theres a line going down that has P R N D 2 1 on it. 260's have this covered up by a strip of plastic i believe. Although you can cover it on a manual conversion as well, it's often left alone.

9.5 Nismo Rims Wont Go On The M35

What size tyres did you use? And if you are at stock height, lowering it will definitely start to get the wheels tucking in a bit. Guards lipped + pulled or flared, it could still work out. Could be worth checking with a body shop if they can get it working on stock guards before selling off the wheels. Not sure if you have said, have you seen it yourself? Or have you got some pics of how its looking at the moment? -
I'm not sure if they will fit without hitting on the strut, if they do fit then they will be sunken inside the guards heaps. Also, for an RS4 due to the ATTESSA system you would be better off running the same width front and back, unless you work out the tyre sizes so you can maintain the same front and back rolling diameter.

what width are the new ones? And which model pulsar? for what it's worth, I'm pretty sure the wheels I had on my old n15 hatch were 17x7+38, and there were no scrubbing issues or anything

If you get pinged for all of those things you'll be in a fair bit of trouble, but it's not likely to happen. The average traffic cop might notice a few of those things, but not all of them. Best bet for a car as modded as this though is to get a full engineers report, that can be enough to stop the cops bothering with any defects. I'll try to answer some of your questions 100mm rule means the lowest point of the car must be over 100mm high. I think this includes bodywork, i.e sideskirts or front bar, but not 100% on that. Brake lines have to be ADR approved, by law. Just the way it is Not having a cat converter will get you sent straight to EPA, which can cause major headaches. If you don't have one then get a highflow cat put in there. Easy to see if you have one or not, get under the car and take a look at the exhaust, the cat will be just after the front pipe leading down from the engine bay. From what I have been told, turbo timer isn't actually illegal, however leaving your car running while you are not in it is illegal. Although you could still be defected for it. I don't have one myself, just let the car idle for a minute or two after driving hard, or take it easy for the last 5 minutes before you park the car. The seats may be a problem if the rails don't meet ADR's. I know BRIDE rails don't meet ADR's, because they have never gone through the testing process over here. Don't know if that is the same with Recaro rails. I'm guessing with the BOV, but if it is in the same position as on GTR's, it will be on your intercooler piping before the intake plenum, hidden down by the front bar. Living in a country town can be a bonus, I'm currently in Bathurst (home of the v8 bogan), had my car for over a year and haven't had any police dramas so far, knock on wood. They don't seem to care as much about defecting out here as they do in Sydney -
yeah, normal was the wrong word to use. Either way, it's not an unusual thing, apparently only really happens when changing into 4th quickly, especially at high revs. There's a good chance the redline shockproof will get rid of the noise, but it won't actually fix the problem.
-
did you use a 32gtr gearbox? From what I've heard, a crunch into 4th is pretty normal for them

Where Did You Put Gauges In Your Stag?

I have my boost gauge on the dash next to the a pillar, hasn't caused me any problems yet. Only stuck there with a bit of double sided tape as well and there haven't been any holes drilled, so it's easy to change its location if I have to. Can sort of see it in this pic -

I removed mine after they both cracked down the entire length of the strips, haven't noticed an increase of wind noise really. Although I normally dont hear any wind noise anyway, with the combination of loud exhaust and music always on. I haven't had any problems with water leaks after taking them off though. The remnants of the double sided tape is a pain in the arse to get off as well, I still haven't got all of it off. -
spotted a white M35 with R34 GTR wheels in Engadine this morning

noo, don't damage the sub! I'd personally go for a towbar and bike rack, as the towbar allows you to use a trailer as well if you ever need to. However, it's a good point that was mentioned about the insurance possibly not covering a bike.
-
It's that bar that goes across the bottom middle of the boot, just under the numberplate
-
Nice, even has the towel rack! Looks pretty good, if the lowness is an issue it says adjustable suspension, so you could always raise the rise height if you needed to.
