  1. Okk sounds good, di he ever experience any problems with the ecu? I mean, Ive heard things about the emanage such as them melting your coil packs and stuff. Any one ese got the emanage?
  2. hey Rich, wel I got the standard front at dump pipes on there, just the cat back exhaust has been done, yeah a lot of people said the cars can easily make 220 to 230 on that kinda setup, I just wanna know if the ecu Im using would be good for those mods.. thanks for the quick reply cheers ben
  3. Hi everyone, ok here's my issue. I own an r33 s1 GTSt and I use it as a daily driver. I took it to do a dyno run and it didnt make the power I wanted, the tuner said the car needed a remap, or an ecu then can have the timing and fuel tuned etc. He obviously recommmended the almighty Power FC so i started looking far and wide for one, realizing they were out of my price range. A coupe of weeks back i found a Greddy Emanage blue for a real good price and picked it up, hasnt gone in my car at all, as i want to get it fully tuned by a mech first and do not wanna risk anythng if it has a bad tune on it. Now I want u to bear in mind that all I really wanna make is 200rwkw, any more woud be a bonus. My car has a cat-back, hi flow turbo, getting a fmic this week, forged pistons and is running 10psi. I mostly wanna tune my car for driveability, smoother idle,, that kinda stuff. Now from what Ive seen on this and a couple of ther forums I visited about the emanage, everyone's giving it crap. I mean, I know the pfc is the much better option, but would I really need it if all I wanna make is 200kw? This is as far as Im going when it comes to modifying the car. my tuner says 200 is possible as long as i got a boost controer, which i got yesterday. As I just mentioned, I dont wanna make much power, just get my car tuned well, coz the current setup has a poor tune (think the stock ecu got remapped ages ago and someone didnt do a good job). So, am I right to with piggyback if I dnt wanna make too much power? I know, a pfc;s a lot better, but the emanage does some of what the pfc does too. I should b getting the tune done in the next 2 weeks, so i will post up dyno results. Any info from u guys is appreciated. Cheeerz Ben

  13. hi all, I recently bought a greddy emanage blue for my r33 gtst. It came with the plug and play harness for the 33, got a fmic going in this week. My current tune setup is giving me major driveability problems, so I just wanted to know, is it safe to put the piggy-back on my car now to see if it runs any better? Or should I just wait till i take it to staus to get it tuned with the front mount on? And If I plug it in now and unplug it, will it cause problems? Any info appreciated.. cheers Ben

  16. my 33 at Goodlife gym in wantirna
  17. U better hope its your lifters, and try not to drive your car too long without getting it checked out. That happened to me, got it serviced but the mech was to much of a noob to find what was wrong, turned out that i did a bearing and broke a rod or something,,the knocking sound became a crucnhing sound. long story short, i did a top and bottom end rebuild, cost about 7k, cz i went and forged everything, but it ended up worth it
  18. That happened to my 33, I replaced the Idle stepper motor, cleaned the AFM and repositioned the TPS. fixed it. Good luck
  19. Bro, it seems like people have been replying but not answering your question. You want to know where the interior fuses are, right? ok, sit in your driver's seat and place your hand, palm facing up on the trim to the right of your steering wheel, but a bit lower, now feel with your fingers for a dug out part, your 4 fingers at the bottom should go into it. Pull that back and a part of the trim will come off. your fuses are in there. Your cigarrete lighter fuse will be the 4th or 5th one on the right column (thers 2 colums of fuses) its a blue 15A fuse. Mine went the other day. good luck cheers
  20. Ey Dano,Im calling a shotgun. I didnt knw u had this, I can come by your house tomorro to pick it up. did u get the trim off yur boot? Ben PM sent too
