Or sick of being raped and killed by immigrated religious zealots, I don't know

All of the truth Problem with cops like him is they are fueled by a distorted perception of intrinsic reward that they're making some kind of difference to the community / are heroes of the same kind who save lives. Must be hard coming up against Melbourne's toughest exhaust systems. Will probably never wake up to the fact that he's made life harder than it needs to be for thousands of people who haven't done anything all that wrong - worse than a thief really. Having spoken to other police in his station, he's not very popular amongst colleagues either...nor are other HWP for that matter.
-
Seems to get paid pretty well considering all he has to do is be a cunt to car enthusiasts

Volume dropping off and spud being a milestone non-event, I'd be very surprised if it didn't sink hard over the next two weeks. Would be selling now. Only thing I see bolstering the price up is if press releases get picked up and increase attention for the operation.

I'm guessing the ridiculous concept drew you in but this was the nail in the coffin

SAU was never stable You never had your car
-
Great cause if one stuffs up you still have the other to back you up!!!
-
Well exactly - what happens when you reach the peak of perfect design and have to improve on it, e.g 90's cars. You end up creating horse shit and trying to pass it off as better, e.g ugly ass cars of today. Bring back HTML websites with frames. Frames were revolutionary.

GUIs on the whole have been shit since about the year 2000 Absolute garbage full of glitches and multi level navigation with no linear logic to it

Mate's dirt bike got nicked from his shed in Warrandyte...18 months later he got a call from cops saying they want to get it out of their evidence locker cause it's taking up space. Apparently they seized it after doing chassis checks on some guys riding dirt bikes in the hills somewhere and no one ever bothered to try calling the actual owner after it went into the lockup. Wasn't too badly molested when he got it back but had already replaced with a newer one lol

This is often because so many of them are stolen
-
It's more that hardly anyone in VWL owns an import anymore so the exposure is low But they did seem to settle down for a bit and Tony(?) said something about EPAs not being given out anymore...

Someone sent me this recently or posted it on here a couple months ago...they are back on it.

We unfortunately live in a priveleged age where some people have no significant issues in their lives to worry about, so instead make them up or get offended on behalf of others to fill the void. This priveleged age also affords people the luxury to challenge said problems in the cheapest, laziest and least effective way possible: social media activism... Protip: if it can be resolved with social media activism it's probably not a real problem lol
-
Fk me, the dumb connections people draw while trying to be offended...they want the AFL to do something about him cause he was wearing a footy top at the same time? What's it got to do with football or other supporters? Will Nike ban him from their stores cause he wears their shoes lol

Yes all my legal mods were listed with JC just for disclosure. Not listed on the AAMI replacement policy, but I haven't had a chance to amend it. There is a line on there about fitted options/accessories/modifications being included in the amount you're covered for, which is only 10k anyway, so it's probably less relevant to third party than comprehensive where you could claim extra for mods. Unless you're concerned about disclosure and being denied a TPF&T claim because of modifications not mentioned.
-
A year... It's third party fire and theft which is almost always market value. But up to 10k which is max for theft anyway. Wasn't difficult to argue Leesh's R33 was worth 10k when that got stolen and realistically it was probably worth 6-7. Not doing comp insurance on a GTS-T...Shannons wanted $1200 a year for it lol
-
My Just Car policy has somewhat automatically switched over to their underwriters AAMI. The TPF&T cover is exactly the same, but their premium is $260 instead of the $400 JC charged me...go figure? They seem to have a much higher excess ($1200) than JC did, so maybe that's why... Wonder if the move was just to consolidate or to force customers into lower premium / higher excess options?
-
Shannons do my contents insurance. Good thing about them is garage cover up to 10k I think, so wheels, tools and memorabilia etc. if they get stolen.

Didn't know Just Car was packing it in...

Maybe they see it so they can complain? See previous post about cult following because people can take the piss out of it... I expect ridiculous action but they could at least put effort into the writing of the plot which has never been awful...and keep in mind continuity for the previous movies...would take about 20 hours of work for a movie that costs 250 million. I felt much more connected to the characters in the previous films. Maybe absence of Brian?
-
They are the ultimate turn your brain off movies; the cult following arguably appeared because people took the piss out of the first movie, even if it's now ironically the most realistic one. Producers cashed in on the appeal to ridiculous action? Can't help but wonder if they'd have been as successful if the storylines and action were kept to a more realistic level and cop/racing plots, drugs/gangs etc. instead of the James Bond stuff. I doubt it. The cars feel very much an afterthought in the movies - literally would have been the last inclusion in the writing where they were just looking for places to include performance cars in a film no longer about them. Lambo in the snow? Movie could have worked without any of the cars.

How the f**k did we go from stealing DVD players from trucks to saving the world
