If you didn't take your car on country cruises or track days I'd say paint it a custom colour. However country ozzie roads + 100kmh(+) speeds tend to be pretty hard on paintwork (just look at my front bar LOL). I'd either stick with the fact. colour or pick a factory colour from another car.
As for factory burg. colours on other cars, to be honest not many stick out....I think toyota have one in their camry range.

When we were all sorting out how to class a car that can be infinitly modified and modified any which way, two mods stuck out as being performance jumps - stickies and fuel injectors. Basically all I have done is improve the std setup....still got the same size turbo etc etc just improved efficiency. To start making serious power (above 220rw or so) it is widely known that you have to increase injector size - hence this being one of the classifications. Again to seriously improve cornering speeds and traction, stickies are req'd. All you have to do is look at the times you were doing with your stickies at calder compared to mine....the stickies more than made up for your *cough**cough* lack of power

Wayne......you are putting on RE55's FOR SAFETY???? How do you figure that?? If you read thru the track threads or do a search most people say stay away from stickies until you've done a few track sessions. Reason for that is you carry a lot more corner speed and the tyres give you no warning before letting go. Unless your current tyres are down to the markers or are retreads I'd say stick with them.......
Yeah Al - Snowie is spot on. From my understanding you need either stickies or upgraded injectors to run in the mod class. I am running an upgraded fuel pump but my injectors are the std size. In my opinion the biggest limitation in upgrading power are the injectors. You can increase the turbo size, you can use a performance pump etc etc but without the bigger injectors the gtsts are limited to approx 200-250rwkw (unless of course you get your car tuned by a WA specialist )
Sounds like Geoff and I WERE on a fairly equal footing before the TT upgrade.....hehehe Roy should be interesting chasing 1:58's on my street tyres and worn suspn. Mental note - take spare pair of undies for turn 1!
Denham......nah mate still on the cr@p (and I MEAN cr@p!!) street tyres. Had a look at them after Calder and theres a lot of wear on the insides of the tyres.....means my SFA traction has gotten worse
Yeah denham looks like the R33 gtsts are in short supply for PI....I believe (according to my understanding) you should be running in the modified class (aftermarket inj + turbo) and I'm running in the std class but if you are still running street tyres it might be a close on track battle
