As far as I know over the past couple of years vicroads and eqiv. have been trying cracking down on dodgy importers who don't complete the car compliance properly. I think if they find one they send out letters to a random selection of cars that have gone thru the workshop to ensure the compliance has been done correctly. If anyone with some authority can confirm this it would be great.......

DoughBoy, I tried to send you a reply PM but SAU is having dramas. I will take the item considering it bolts straight up. Just out of interest does it come with the mounts and bolts or will I have to source them? Also with the postage......do you live in Sydney or Melb? If so I might have an easier solution. Do you have the din pocket thingy? Sits under the radio in the lowest din position with a flip lid to suit s1 / s1.5 dash plastic.

Troy....most of the time I was topping 3rd gear at or near the crest of the hill wacking her into 4th for the downhill run into the chicane :-) Felt great as the combined boost and dip in the hill really pushed you into the seat :-D As for the speed...nfi....too busy trying to keep her straight as I was getting some wicked wheelspin outta the corner onto the hill when boost hit in 3rd.

Yeah Sam...spot on. The EPA notice you get in the mail for a noisy exhaust is based on a poilce officers' or EPA officers' OPINION. My question is if you get picked up for a noisy exhaust and its is legal and passes the relevant tests, who can you reclaim the money spent on the tests as well as any time off work to get the things done???

Man you would think most people here *know* about the WA tune My bets on some high mount 2530's as well Well based on the last winton outing when I has having a good go with an unknown pilot in James's GTR.......my car running about 210-220rwkw was equal if not a little bit more powerful than the fairly stock Golgo but everytime I changed gears down the straight he caught up a little due to the higher red-line. It was hard to say (diff drivers) but even with my stock/worn/tired suspension I was getting better speed out of the corners...

Geeez Roy with all these GTR pilots disappearing over the horizon looks like all the action is going to be between us GtsT guys :headspin:
