  1. I'm a fridgie who could probably pass the MCP exam, but cant weld for shit.
  2. I believe that on a manual car, the guard has to be fitted to the handbrake to be legal?
  3. Out of interest, does this alarm have coloured wiring and external relays? 90 percent of the internet bought alarms do, and these are NOT a valid alarm for insurance. Insurance specifies 2 stage immobilisation, internal relays and all black wiring. Just a heads up before you blow a lot of money getting an alarm installed, only to find your insurance voided if you ever need to claim a theft etc.
  4. You're still talking crap. You really should quit while you are ahead. Well, not so much ahead, but before you get too much further behind. I hope you are a better fitter/welder than you are MCP :S
  5. ... and cyrus' verses are really lame! (hey, it rhymes)
  6. I made the avatar from screen caps from episode 2 Lots of people have stolen it now, teh suckz0rs. Have you seen some of david firths other work? Postman is very disturbing.... Salad Fingers is in a class of its own though

    Day Cruise

Totally unrelated topic, how good is it being an IT pro.
  8. Diesel is ultimate win for 4x4s, especially turbo'd.
  9. Chris Rogers did the alarm install on my VL, which had a few dramas. Although they could be classed as his fault, many factors worked against him (time, people rushing him to move out of the area he was working in, my car being a piece of shit) and he came to me three times without complaint to make sure it was all working 100%, which it now is. So I'll use him again. I mean how many places come to you to sort the shit out? The last 2 times I wasnt even with the car, I just hid the keys and told him where to find it. I made it like an easter egg hunt, with a series of cryptic clues, each more cryptic than the last... He does the City Cat alarm installs (sat tracking and all, though why the hell you'd bother when the damn things are stuck on the river and cant go into open sea or they blow up.. how hard are they gonna be to find?) and installs for plenty of car parts shops and car dealerships. word.
  10. Have you considered one of these? http://www.tafe.qld.gov.au/courses/literac...eracy/anlc.html Might be a good qualification to add to your MCP...
  11. Should have just come out and said it instead of being all subtle and sugar coating it.
  12. Free tap water no longer exists, they charge for the cup (and ice, if you get it). Dunno the exact charge, about 50c from memory.
  13. MSID and HWID have not been used since Windows98 AFAIK... Some websites make reference to WinXP having them still, but if youre scared: regsvr32.exe -U c:windowssystem32regwizc.dll
  14. I feel the need to bump this thread to keep making sure plenty of people see the topic. Game on.
  15. Unless someone takes an MB100 work van out there, then all bets are off. Cause work vans win every race.
  16. Nah, I think you've about covered it Also, using the wrong thread is ok for emergency, but I'd be getting the right bolt straight away. We dodgied mine (on VL) late one night and it partially threaded, but luckily we had a set of tap and dies on hand and remade the thread. It was the same bolt he'd been using on another mates VL with no dramas too :S
  17. I like that article, I may just have to bookmark it for future anti-4x4 arguments I wonder if there are any newspaper articles praising SUVs for being "safe", "good looking" and "practical"?
  18. Wow, its true.. They really do give out MCSE qualifications to anyone! Cheers for being a living, breathing proof of concept for my theory "MCSE requires no sk1llz". Now I have a link to send anyone who disagrees: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/me...hp?userid=17300
  19. I can see that MS has a squad of elite MS Hax0rs armed with "teh secret keyz!!11one1". Beware the crack team coming to remove your pr0n and mpFREEs if you dare go online with illegal XP. ... says the man currently online with a cracked version of XP
  20. They try hoons for manslaughter if they kill someone while racing/speeding/etc. AFAIK they also try drink drivers for manslaughter? I think its very similiar. Irresponsible actions causing the death of another individual. For interests sake, watch the news again tonight. They are covering the Easter road toll fairly heavily and I was most amused (in a dark, twisted way) to see that of the 4 crashes they high lighted in QLD, 3 of them were 4x4s and all 3 were a fatility to the occupant of the other vehicle. One picture stuck in my mind of a green Mazda 323 (driven by two old ladies) that had been hit by a landcruiser with a bullbar. The top half of the 323 was destroyed into nothingness, no doubt by the bullbar. If the collision had of involved any normal cars, this wouldnt have happened due to crumple zones and no bullbar. The bottom half of the 323 was relatively unscathed (bar minor panel damage)...... Made me a bit cranky, a bit amused and I also felt a bit sexy.
  21. If you want the full star visual rating on NFS, you have to do the outrun races with random peeps on the street as you drive around. kthx.
  22. 'sif his password isnt "penis", or a variation of. When I had an in4free account (remember that isp back in the day?) my password was 'weepoobum'... How stupid did I feel giving that over the phone when I needed something changed?
