tech night was good. shy of shattering everything in my car (which he obv didnt do), it took him remarkably longer to hotwire my car past the standard alarm than the 5 seconds it took to get ralfs car started........install really is everything. if anything ralfs alarm seemed to make it easier to steal. my car goes to chris on tuesday to get sorted should have it back for a thursday drive. yeah the old man in me has said "sell it and fix the VW"......but then the older man kicked in and said "you'll never sell it for what its worth, and that would be a waste of money more than any fuel economy will make up for"

may i ask how you could even vaguely justify selling it? ive spent crap all on mine and i still think it would be hard for me to sell for a reasonable amount. after all the money, why? enjoy some more first!! sorry man, ill be heading there early. but ill catcha there

would that gear not be a stronger unit if it were solid? why is it cut out in the sides? seems a weak point to me. With a factory item i could understand weight and less material. but surely not in a multi thousand dollar set of teeth? nissan like making a weak point in boxes...our old racing Patrol spat 5th a while ago. and despite the box being the size of a small house, 5th gear is a tiny narrow POS. easy answer on a work horse tho...just dont use 5th while towing.

My wife granny drives mine and can get almost 100km more out of a tank than i do. but i'd say your economy has alot to do with the auto, and how much she loads it up in each gear (or how much the box forces her to do so...lol) other than that its all about the drive, if i only drive to and from work in traffic and with the cold start i get 360-370km. as soon as i get any highway use its 400+ no idea sorry, i dont see why not tho. most of these clusters fit/look the same car looks good man, would like to see those wheels in person, what offset are they? man...you guys have no faith in your cars...lol. run it empty just to find out, i often leave it till well and truely empty and the fuel light is on before filling. i know exactly how empty i can run it (made it to a servo with 2 litres left once). Holden doesnt count as a reference to anything on another note, Carseldine and visit the westies this thursday??

its a phone guys.... only thing i can say is that the iPhone preemptive text is better and more responsive imo....i still swear at my android for giving me ti instead of to every day. and fruit ninja is much more responsive on the iFail.
