  1. I'm after subloom for Knock sensors + Oil Pressure Switch yay or nay ?
  2. This thread needs to be pinnd/stickied by our new moderator that has checked this section a grand total of once.
  3. Wow....
  4. I can, but yeah, I had an R32 GTR shifter (about 2/3 the length), it didnt fit into my 20 box with the bush on, but did fit without the bush. Didnt read your first post properly, cut and shit - can't be a GTR shifter then, my bad. Expect a PM, soon
  5. Wrong thread, but yes, I'm seriously sick of it all man. Perfectly fine motor packs up on me - $500 engine swap turns into four figure problem....
  6. Pic of the bottom bush ? Looks like a 32 GTR shifter
  7. In Early 1970s they became standard (over a preiod of time, which I believe by early 1980s ALL vehicles were required to run a catalytic convertor, the only exception to date being vehicles running solely on LPG and CNG) Read ADRs.
  8. Crossmember is still longer, and a bit of an odd shape. Aus post wont accept articles over 1 metre long. Might have to pull out of this sale dude - probably going to sell both of my Cefiro's immediately, and need the front crossmember to keep the shell rolling. I'll keep you posted.
  9. Too heavy for a box, could maybe tie it to a pallet here at work but it'd work out expensive. Is why I suggested small/medium freight companies. TNT/Star Trak/Big companies will charge through the roof for it as it's unpackaged and shit, little companies won't give a shit, they'll chuck it on top of another pallet and charge f**k-all for it. It's your call dude.
  10. Maybe I insist on running a cat, not down to any countries laws, but down to I don't want to be an asshole contributing to f**king up this planet. Yes, I'll die long before the last tree on this Earth falls, but that's no reason to not give a shit. No, I'm not wearing a rainbow, smoking week, driving a VW Van and chain myself to tree's in my spare time, before you ask. Pre 197x vehicles dont have air bags, why don't you remove yours? Pre 197x have lower standards for power/brake capacity ratio's, why don't you downgrade to single pot + 250mm? Because you're vehicle is NEWER, it is much more effecient in alot of ways, it's faster, it's a smarter design. Don't be a douche by dragging it back to 30 year old standards. Your catalytic convertor was fitted to your vehicle for a reason, thought out by engineer's for alot longer than you thought "how can I get more power out of my fully sick D1 daily??"
  11. Yeah most mid sized freight companies allow payment on delivery. I bought a FULL black interior (4x seats, 4x door cards, centre console, etc) from SA, the chick I bought it off simply took it to a depot, filled out con note and it was done, i paid for it over the phone when they called me to say it'd arrived at their depot (across the road from work) and picked it up later on. IMO easiest way to freight big shit. I went with Watsons Transport but ring around, get a quote and get back to me. I work in Perth's main industrial area, so most freight companies are nearby. Give me a ring on 0431 598 320 when you've found your carrier, or if you need dimmensions/rough weight, etc.
  12. When did I ever suggest I follow another country's road/vehicle rules ? I agree they way they so shit over there is alot better than here in Australia, doesn't mean I live by their system. One Ceffy has an R34 NEO motor, the other has no motor/box at all.
  13. Rumours are they are different, yes. For some reason, a Cefiro crossmember is NEEDED to do an RB20DET swap into an S1x so there must be some differences. How's $150 + Postage / $150 + I drop it off to transport company and they ship it to you, COD ? http://i37.tinypic.com/2qvy1hc.jpg EDIT: Freight will be f**k all, since trucks go Perth -> Back over East with alot less on board.
  14. Thought they were same as R32, but Sleeka Spares in Adelaide is wrecking 2 Cefiro's at the moment if you can't find one locally. I might have a very very clean one (the one in my resto build) very soon as well.
  15. Can buy pre-made flange adapters to T25/T30. Better for quick response, less top end power.
  16. That plug is currently in use. Dunno if its for the ECU power - I paid a cashie to wire it up but he did use that plug. If it's being used for something else, is it stable enough to run all the power I need off the one or two spares in that plug ?
  17. I've seen sudden bright white flames many times. It's more common with gutted cats or high flow cats, where as no cat all together tends to burn more fuel so the burn lasts longer. HIDs are still illegal on most cars due to the fact they're not aimed properly and are not self-correcting. Track cars / lawnmowers do not make use of WA/Australian Roads. We're talking about rules applied to road cars. Correct - Japan's system is every 5 years or 100'000km, a car is subject to have its motor rebuilt and pass an emissions test, which is the reason Japan has such a high export of cars with low KMs. I agree with Japan's system all the way, as for third world countries, depends on which country and what their laws are, why don't you stop asking retarded questions? is it because you are retarded? you because you like putting 90 questions in the same sentence? huh? huh? yeah! As for red sticker, I didnt meant the sticker they have over East, which is the same size as the yellows. Red sticker = big flamin mongrel sticker on the windshield, and your plates become void on the system until it passes pits.
  18. Yeah, looked like she was swaying a little bit having to turn soo quickly/hard in between.
  19. Need to tap into something to power up the ECU. 5 wires total, need 12v on ign/ON. 3 others need 12V full time. What car I use behind dash? or am I better off to tap into the fuse block and run its own lines ?
  20. Sounds soo good
  21. ^^ See guys, this man is on the money. Rather than post a question IN the sticky thread, he made another post. To answer your question: in the sticky, there is a link to the old one, hit that up and read through the posts, I recall it being on the first few pages, possible page 1 but can't remember. They went into a little more detail about it.
  22. Found a picture of how it looked when I bought it Motor and gearbox back in now, with R32 GTR gear shifter, which is f**king SHORT indeed. Comparison - here is the GTST shifter which was a tad longer than the factory manual Cefiro shifters (LINK) <- selector is in fourth gear in picture. Here is a 1st->Neutral->Second sequence with GTR shifter. Not the huge amounts of slack in the shift boot. First Neutral Second At least this fixes the issue with the shift boot stretching, looks alot better now. Now sorting out the wiring and looking for exhaust solutions. Almost ready to go back on the road....2 months later :\
  23. Where did I ever suggest you go to jail merely for having no cat. I said if your decat f**ks up someone's eyesight and/or car and causes an accident, then you're in shit. If you actively ASK a workshop, repeatedly to remove your cat. convertor, then you'd be up for a fine. Once you're in front of a magistrate, there's no "oh I didnt know" bullshit, it's common sense, and some are less forgiving than others. 9/10 cops have never read the ADRs and are stupid enough to give you a yellow instead of something a bit more harsh but that's not the point. You should really learn to read MY novel post, before posting one of your own. But hey, you're the expert. Like I suggested earlier, please fit a GRiD, decat, and straight throughs, go give it some juice on a dark night, right in front of a cop car, and let us know how you go with that. Serious. Rather than we all sit here dicussing ADRs and penalties, just go and actually do it, then we'll all know for sure.
  24. ......... I'm sorry, but you're seriously a little bitch. I know, HMASR33GTSTs are heavy, but if it's too heavy for yourself to push the A-pillar before jumping in, couldnt you atleast HELP push ?
