  1. I've tried hydraulical lifting, brute force, grips, WD40, and every trick I can find on the internet. I don't have sufficient room to weld anything on, and yes I have tried destroying the old spiggot on removal (hacksaw, and welding something on the big lip which the auto's have in front of the spiggot for the torque convertor). It Just Won't Budge
  2. I work in Welshpool, so very close to KYP, however, I do work, on Mondays, sadly. I knock off at 16:30 so I can meet you there about 10-15 mins later ? They close at 5 I think/ Having drama's with spiggot bush removal. I have tried every trick I can find on the internet and the little f**ker still hasn't moved 1mm. I've already wasted $650 into it shit to get it running again, and it still doesn't like me. I don't have alot of budget left. I should normally be paid every 4 weeks, but work f**ked up my last one and paid me mid July, so I'm on a 6 week stretch between paydays, this leaves me incredibly vulnerable, so I am trying to keep spendings down where possible, if you don't mind holding onto the bumper and relying on good faith that I will actually buy it off you as soon as easily possible, that'd be muchly appreciated, you know, with how much of an awesome guy you are and all...?
  3. OK. Connected plugs 1 and 2 (the black ones), the unit turns on, and buttons display appropriate action on screen, however, no fan, and no illumination on button (the screen does dim however). The digital display plugs have more wires on its two connectors, where as the Ceffy factory one has less on the two (and obviously the extra connector) - so, use the digital plugs, and wire them up to the factory plugs (1, 2 and 3)....doesn't seem soo hard now. Can work out wires by opening up both control units and tracing each wire. If I work it out I'll post it up.
  4. You'd wanna chop chop Eps, I'm having drama's with both Ceffies at the moment, bank balance is dropping fast and I'm 4 weeks away from my next pay day (I'm meant to be on 4 week arrears pay cycle, but work f**ked up, and paid me mid July, so I'm on a 6 week stretch for next pay this time)
  5. Assuming it was a 20DET auto Ceffy, even then, he'd have to have a heavy foot wouldn't he ? That switch went bonkers in mine, stayed in second even when switch was on POWER, wouldn't use fourth, then intermittently would use first on decel, made corners unpredictable.
  6. Welcome to biased SkylinesAustralia forums Yeah, Snow is a traction control for auto, vehicle takes off from second gear (not first) so the back end doesn't come flying out. Basically, its a fun-killing button
  7. All I've got is 180SX digital display, and the plugs on the back. So....I'm in without a hope ?
  8. Something is only difficult if you live north of the river
  9. Cheap 33 Cima for sale that needs repairing and rego...hmmmm
  10. Maybe GTR cluster then...dunno, see if you can find some specs on gear ratio's of both gearboxes ?
  11. CEFIRO on one side, 10TH ANNIVERSARY on the other side. Mint condition, uncut, same length as A31 barrell, suit somebody who has a MINT Ceffy (ie not a drift shitter) $100, if you want it posted in a small box (registered + Insured) you pay for that too. 0431 598 320 or PM
  12. I've got a better method. Don't be weak? Suspension isn't bolted up that tight.
  13. Possibly same problem with speedo being out on GTR cluster due to AWD. GTR cluster has extra gauges that need to be wired in. GTST cluster = easiest option by far.
  14. Consider me out in that case. Hahaha nah, I'm in as long as I can get the f**king box in the Ceffy....spiggot bushes are THE DEVIL!
  15. Removed auto from the Ceffy last weekend. If anybody is after any bits, I still have most of them here somewhere. Har lines got bent on removal, flywheel and starter motor and both no go, everything else is there. Box Tailshaft Auto Shifter assembly (awesome condition) Pedal and cable Footrest Computer Price + Pics on request.
  16. I'm still soo confused and the links aren't working. How did you go about swapping the wires over? Was it just a matter of matching color for color? And i'm assuming you didn't cross wires between the two connectors (ie. run wires from connector A to connector B) ??
  17. yes but I know for a fact both of mine definately rolled of the production floor with auto anchors
  18. Here's the thing, according to FAST and their production plates, they're BOTH definately facgtory auto. The crossmember are the same, they have 3 hoels on each side and only use 2 to bolt up to floorplan, no adapter plates. I'll take pics.
  19. Comparing factory auto Cefiro crossmember, to crossmmeber that was mounting my manual box into the other Ceffy (originally an Auto), but was still under the impression that auto crossmember and manual crossmember were different....looks like same crossmember for either gearbox.
  20. Apparently different between auto and manual. I compared mine, both are identical, no re-drilling visible anywhere on either, all mounting holes in the exact same spot. Discuss.
  21. OK but lets make one thing clear. Those mounting brackets for the bumper...that hold it to the panel...BOTH of those are MINE!
  22. Yes. Exhaust substitute parts are covered in the sticky threads.
  23. You can have them if you want man, I only insist on the front bumper
  24. Consider SR20DET, that's sort of something different and stupidly easy. SR crossmembers, SR motor and box, only custom work you need to do is exhaust, and wiring up the ECU loom into the interior. Better weight balance, lighter, easy to work on.
  25. Did you space the swaybar already? Easy, just put another bush on either side. Coming along nicely.
