  1. Does anyone know the schedule for Sunday? The nationals website just says "Speed event sunday". I'd like to know what time each event is on.
  2. In 99% of cases your ISP has nothing to do with needing to reboot your modem x times a day, as has been stated a lot of modems will crack under the loads torrents put on them, drop out due to bad line conditions or incorrect filtering, or are just plain shit. Either way call your ISP and complain, I know for sure Adam can check your line statistics from their end and help troubleshoot where the problem may be (if you're on an Adam dslam). This is my home connection, completely shit conditions, a wag54gv3 on an Adam dslam. Most people would have a better connection than this, I only drop out every 2-3 days and never need to reboot the modem, neither should anyone else. 3. 3 pages in, looks like it will be a good build thread! Love ones where people go all out or do something out of the ordinary, always fills my head with new ideas lol.
  4. Don't PFC's also flash the engine light for knock? So the light comes on as you start making boost, and continues to stay on until max boost? What are the boost and afm voltage readings when the light FIRST comes on.
  5. When my walbro pump acts up, I smack the cover in the boot with a hammer while someone cranks the engine and it magically fires back to life. If it is your fuel pump playing up, I'd certainly recommend getting a bosch -_-
  6. I also have one of these in my '96 s2 33. I've always assumed someone went to Nissan for a factory ECU (replace aftermarket before export maybe) and this is what they sell.
  7. Is this the partial service manual floating around the net or a proper fsm?
  8. Dion, have a look at the attached. It's a PDF I found on the nistune forums a while a go and details what pins need to be swapped, but instead of hacking up the factory loom it explains how to modify the ECU internals so the loom can remain untouched. Any reasonable electronics repair shop should be able to resolder the SMD components. Z32_ECU_Modifications_Direct_R33_Plugin_V3.pdf
  9. Hi Guys, I'm needing legal advice in regards to some car repairs I have going at the moment, has anyone used a solicitor in this field previously they could recommend? Cheers.
  10. BKR6E vs BCP6RES Projected tip vs Projector insulator The BCP plug overall looks a bit longer, NGK recommend the BKR. However there seems to be a fair few people around running the BCP plug, are there any actual benefits to this plug? I'm running BKR6EIX in my 25det, this is more of an interest question.
  11. If running an RB25 you also need an external vct controller as the rb20 ecu will not do it. A couple of years a go there was talk of re-tuning 33 ecus with a write-once chip, or having them permanently re-tunable via an emulator daughter board, but all talk on this seems to have gone quiet?

  13. There is no ground wire in the factory loom, check where the black wire from the back of the headunit is going, should be to a bolt on the chasis somewhere. So the headunit turns on, but none of the accessories in the boot? Check how they are wired up, should be a second fuse for those accessories somewhere.
  14. Clear side indicators for 33 gtst s2 PM please, Cheers.
  15. CRC Disc Brake Quiet is what I have - bright redish, used a whole bottle per axle and coated every surface between the rear of the pad and pistons. Guess I'll just re-apply and hope it keeps working this time.
  16. Do the "anti-squeal" plates on the back of brake pads perform any real task or can I rip them out? All they do is squeal, I've applied some anti-squeal gummy paste to them but that only lasted a couple of months.
  17. Could very well be, unfortunately I don't seem to have any photos of the other side. A few people have pointed out the bar seems to be mounted about half an inch too low, plus theres unrepaired damage to metal work behind the bar along with a list of other little things that have been "overlooked" Car goes back in next week to hopefully be fixed properly.
  18. Perhaps a pic that includes a bit more... Cutout around the exhaust on the original bar (left) appears to be over all larger & rounder, certainly taller, on the new one (right) you can see the bar is practically sitting on my exhaust due to this smaller cut out, less clearance all around. Maybe I'm being a bit pedantic I'll try and park it next to a few other 33's to compare I guess.
  19. You can see the exhaust cut out is larger on the original bar, also the styling is slightly different. I've had a quick glance at others driving around and the new bar certainly is different, however I'd like to know what model it is from so I have a better leg to stand on.
  20. Hi Guys, Hopefully an easy one, I've just picked up my car from the crash repairer and amongst other things wrong the rear bar is different. In the pic the right bar is my original one on a 1996 M Spec R33 gtst, on the right is what the crash shop has put on. You can see around the exhaust is clearly different as well as the shaping of the bump. Does anyone know what this new rear bar could be off? a non m-spec maybe?
  21. Check headunit for AV inputs, the round yellow RCA plugs. Most reverse cameras will have a plug for power and one of these RCA plugs for the video. Sounds like you have a lot going on in this car, happen to have any pics or a build thread up anywhere? Don't know if it's of any interest but MEA:SA has been picking up lately and toward the end of the year are looking at a few of the vic competitors and judges coming over to run some SQ comps, the more local interest the better.
  22. Tough break Grant, I left pretty early so missed it smashed bad?
  23. Nope I've still got it, I'll give the original buyer until tomorrow night to contact me else I'll re-list as for sale.
  24. Anywhere in Adelaide that will service/diagnose some Cusco coilovers that are knocking? So far I've tried Manta but they didn't want to touch them.
