Shane, the injectors work fine with 2 standard O rings on each injector, but the big 14mm ones were a no go. I just want to make it more elegant.

Also for aftermarket TB's and fuel rails you can try Buzz Engines in Brisbane. They have done some nice work. http://www.buzzengines.com/ I need to get a decent fuel rail for the 26/30 as I'm running Delphi 680cc injectors and the O ring setup is not optimal with the GTR rail.

The guys at Bursons or Repco would know and have the plugs John. I can't remember off the top of my head.

Anyway, back on topic...... With advances in turbo technology the makers have also moved toward a longer life bearing, that of the ball bearing. While there may be some evidence that a BB will spool faster, I consider that is due to the improved geometry in the modern turbos running BB. I'm yet to see any real testing that proves that exactly the same turbos except with journal or BB would be very different. In fact, the journal, running perfectly is only riding on a film of oil, while a BB has to also accelerate the bearings at a greater radius, and so would by every engineering principle be slower to spool if everything else was equal. Given that cheaper highflows aren't as economical as they used to be when Slide did them I would Highly recommend the GTSS or 2860 setup. Also common practice is to assume between 25-30% losses through drivetrain and tyres on a dyno unless it is a direct connection to the hubs, such as Dynapack. No sense arguing with Ash, he only repeats what others say, although he is an authority on prices, especially for others doing the work, so worth listening there.

Good point from a frame size. I'm 176cm and 110kg ex-Rugby prop, I take 2XL shirts to fit my shoulders. GTR seats are simply too narrow in the back and shoulders for me, as well as being too flimsy. When pushing hard in competition they were just not up to par. The Recaros I have are a perfect fit and I can't notice any flex in competition driving with a 4 point harness. Having both sets of seats apart, I can honestly say I wouldn't ever waste money on any GTR seat when a Recaro is available. The GTR drivers seat had 7 cracked welds and 4 failed welds, the passenger seat had 3 cracked welds. I had to re-align and reweld, then pad weld to regain some structural integrity and this was within a couple of months of purchase on a car with less than 100K km. They are now better than original and i gladly sold them for more than the Recaros cost. The Recaros, on the other hand, look very strong and capable in the framework. My opinion is based on many years of professional engineering, mechanic work and motorsport. Their only drawback is they are not as easy to keep tipped forward for rear entry and the passenger side doesn't have a slide release on fold forward. Still, a small price to pay for a quality aftermarket product as opposed to what is a better than average OEM seat.

GTR seats are actually pretty poor quality when you strip them down. They also have a lot more movement and are heavier than Recaros. I had one set that needed several welds repaired due to cracking. My expert advice? Buy the Recaros every time.

Well it was out of the race car.....but hey, it keeps you going. Alright, just had to make sure mate. There has to be something clogged and that would be around that water drain. Not sure if it can be pulled so maybe use something flexible to shove into it to see if you can clear it. There is only one drain on the system, other than around your foot once it is full

Interesting point. Qld Transport claims 14% of fatals are caused by over the limit speeding (not to be confused with under the limit speeding eg. too fast for the conditions. There is such a thing) where overseas data and our research states that it is closer to 2%. Take out the drunked and drugged, joyriders in stolen cars and the odd idiot running from the police and that figure drops drastically. Saving lives, I don't think so. Training is the only answer.
