  7. I'd nearly consider trying to find that plastic strip at a wreckers or privately, shouldnt cost too much i wouldnt think
  8. This is from February mate check the dates, and they have sold both heads
  9. na 8.5 +15 on the front with 235s
  10. That depends purely on the offset, ive got 18x9.5 +35 Vertec's under my 32 with 265s and all i did was roll the lip flat (resulting in cracked paint) and mine never scrub =) Not sure on who to roll the gaurds though as i always do mine the dodgy way and crack the paint, usually because i need it done in a hurry
  11. I'll be lucky if i get a motor back in my 32 for this one
  12. I've got one in launnie mate for $200, pm me if your keen, if your down hobart or devonport way im headed both ways this weekend.
  13. lol! WTB some large aftermarket cams to suit an RB20/25 with hydraulic lifters, looking for something like the Tomei Poncam 270 deg/ 8.5 lift items
  14. The drags will still be up and running next season
  15. Yeah if it will idle with the miss just disconnect the coils one by one, thats the easiest way...if you can narrow it down to a particular cylinder then focus on all the connections for that one.
  16. Bump! urgently need one now but seems like they are very hard to find, i would look at a 20det bottom end if theres one kicking about cheap somewhere, doesnt need to have a head on it.
  17. Check all the terminals for the injectors and also the ignitor, CAS and AFM for corrosion on the pins, ive seen them corrode and have intermitten contact issues many times, if they are corroded contact cleaner and/or some emery paper is the bext way to clean it. The injectors are less likely to corrode, but the terminals in the plugs can stretch/wear out and cause issues, i had an intermittent miss with my supra that drove me mad for weeks and all i had to do was tighten the terminals back up on 1 injector plug. also check out the coilpack plugs as well.
  18. Hey guys, Chasing an rb20de motor, preferably in good running order, or a set of good pistons. Located in TAS, willing to pay freight if its not too dear. Cheers, Daniel.
  19. Na mate was i supposed to?? ive never had a spare one..
  20. Want to buy RB20DE short or long motor, in good usable condition preferably!
  21. Pretty simple little units, generally they just seize or wear/tear the seals.
  22. Its good that you've figured it out mate, are you sure the slave cylinder is broken? as the slave cylinder failing wont cause the pivot ball to break, did the clutch pedal go really stiff when it broke or did the pedal just drop to the floor under normal conditions ? The hub that the release bearing is on may have gotten dry and sticky or could have even jammed causing more load on the pivot ball/clutch fork, let me know if you need any bits mate as i have a few gearboxes laying around.
