  1. Hmm thinking about it...
  2. If only that theory could be *easily* applied to women Gotta try'em all...
  3. This thread does not deliver *unsubscribe*
  4. I did some googling and turned up this, the last paragraph talks about there being a V8 in it instead of the hybrid junk from GT5 http://www.themotorreport.com.au/33028/cit...-expected-soon/
  5. lol now now ladies play nice
  6. Just use electrical contact cleaner and spray the mesh and wire, give the mesh a light wipe but be careful not to damage it if you can.
  7. Hmm, that's a bloody tough call to make. Both are Über sexy... I guess I'll just have to get both? Yeah we can dream...
  8. I thought it looked like the ripped it straight out of a video game, then I read that it was originally designed for GT5 and then made into a real car because everyone got so excited. Awesome
  9. Do all your regular maintenance as per the many threads covering this article, don't bother trying to work anything out until it's fully serviced then go from there. An important thing to note is cold and hot starts as was mentioned above. All cars use more fuel when running cold so if you;re ot trips your fuel economy will suffer badly.
  10. Doubt it'll coAus officially but you might be able to import and convert one, won't be cheap. I'm with you though, the Camaro is sex on wheels.
  11. This is gonna be awesome, I can't wait for this to come out locally. Finally we can roll the damn car Hope this is at least on par with GT5 =\ http://www.themotorreport.com.au/32967/for...s-images-video/
  12. This records stuff all seems a bit iffy to me. I'd like to see indendent tests done by someone other than the manufacturer. Hardthough coz then the manfuacturer could say it's not our fault that you can't drive our car fast. Didn't Nissan and Porsche have a bit of whinge about that stuff?
  13. I would have thought there'd be something faster or maybe just not officially recorded? http://www.themotorreport.com.au/35730/200...guinness/#title
  14. Join basically any car club and just start getting involved in track days and deca days. It's as expensive as you want it to be. Or, if you mean dirt racing there is a speedway series in Vic.
  15. In answer to topic title, if you have ABS, the car won't like up like made under hard braking, and the pedal will pulsate under hard braking. You can also check the lines running from your brake master cylinder and trace where they run, if they run into another unit before going to the calipers you have ABS. If they run straight to the calipers from the BMC, you do not have ABS. OR easier still, if you have two lines coming out of your BMC you have ABS, if you have three lines you do not have ABS.
  16. K's are not the only indicator of car condition anyway, you really need to be driving the cars for a while and doing a proper road test. It pays to have a pro who knows GT-R's look over it too. Compression and leak down tests can also be a good idea. A car with 60,000k's could just as easily go bang as a car with 160,00 depending on how they have been treated and maintained during their lives.
  17. Hmm it's not a clear cut choice, you really have to decide what you want from your car as each was made with very different purposes in mind. The civic will be a great daily commuter, can be modified (though you will run out of power options a lot sooner than you will with the 180 without spending rediculous coin) maintenance and service costs, if you're doing it yourself shouldn't be too bad and you can run it on lower grade fuel. Insurance will also be much cheaper. The 180 will be a far better performer (when you consider both with basic bolt on mods) will respond better to those mods (as in give you more power per mod), and has a huge aftermarket and second hand parts market surrounding it - so you can get parts very cheap. Being an older model turbo car, the running and maintenance costs will be a bit higher, as will insurance and fuel costs, Both will be a bucket load of fun and the Civic would probably be considered the safer car for an inexperienced driver (understeer being much easier to recover from than oversteer) It's a tough one to decide but it ultimately comes down to what you feel you want. Might be a good idea to jump into some chats over at nissansilvia.com.au as well and read up about 180's
  18. +1 for 18's - best all round bang for buck and performance wise too. Only go bigger if the car is going to be shown or you're willing to pay more than you need to for rubber and sacrifice some performance.
  19. Agreed, no point wrecking a nice set of rims. Especially if you're a novice or just hard on the car. Vorks FTW
