  1. I sore AWSOME DIY on youtube about making your stock halogen's into xenon projectors. Since we already have the xenons it would be slightly less trouble. Doesnt look too hard. Ill find the link and post it soon. EDIT: Here we are, Watch this...and the next four form the same guy....http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Projector+headlight&search_type=&aq=f Great DIY and i think its very do-able. I am contemplating buying a set from japan for <100 and giving it a shot!

So jealous. Looks like its coming along very nice, and quickly. But please by some roof rail replacements to really set off that sleek look. Really wish i could see this in the flesh. For anyone interested or doing this conversion, i sore a website last night that had r34 oem hid lights(apprently) second hand for $1390 or there bouts. Not easiest of parts to come across for this conversion..
  3. Got me stumped? Does the coolant have any evidence of any inhibitor. under the radiator cap you would see most likely brown gunk shit, Which could mean further problems causing the shaking/ running on less cylinders. Other then that... I'm sure other's on here will have a much better idea.
  4. Well i got hit in the front left hand side at about 90kmph from a car coming straight at me. Felt little bit worse then a nice bumper-cars hit.... You could drive alot worse in the wagon department.
  5. A love dome, with disco lights and the lot....?
  6. I have a Spare Cargo blind and net if you want them. Not sure on price, Pm me. I'm located in Brisbane.
  7. Thanks heaps mate, I know it might be a bit odd and off trouble, but you wouldn't be able to take a photo of how well the lights light up the road, just so i can compare it to the stick bulbs? Im thinking if there 55W and stock are 35W 4300k, they must show up a fair deal more...
  8. ..You took your stagea on the beach lol...
  9. Ah okay thanks for that. Well once I understood the difference between the lights when I went down to repco, i can now understand why all the confusion. Stageas with stock xenons use the D2R 35W while the povvo models or the one's complianced properly have the H1 55w. What i do want however, is a brighter D2R 35w (6000k for example), but i was qouted in excess off $200 for replacement bulbs, so i have otherr priorities atm.
  10. What sort of fitting is the parker light? Bayonet or wedge style thing?
  11. Hmm, not quite. By Parker light, I mean this one circled in Red. The light circled in blue is the one which according to what I pulled out is the D2R 35w...
  12. Well sorry for the thread revival, but I am a little confused as to whats what. Basically people say the Series 2 C34 low beam lights use H1 55w, yet i pulled mine out today, which are the stock xenon's( unless somebody changed the bulbs in japland) and the bulb had on it...D2r 35W.. Any ideas? There defiantly not halogen bulbs, they are xenon, however in my previous car which had 6000k xenon's in it, i remember much greater visibility than what I currently have. Should i swap these bulbs over for some 6000k H1 55W ones? Also could some please advise to what size bulb the Parker light is, as i would like to change it to a white light and get that horrible yellow out.
  13. Ah so jealous! I looked at these about a month ago...and said if only. haha Cant wait to see what they look like on your's. What colour did you order?
  14. That night sounds like it cost you alot more then $400. haha Probs not something id be telling everyone personally haha.
  15. Yeah i agree with you there. I can't remember who exactly told me not to do it; but I thought the ecu in stock form ran on two maps, ie normal and knock. So by manually eliminating one of those map's, there's a slight risk. Hell i could be wrong. If i could manually run my car at 5-6psi and have another map running at 8-10psi, i proberly would, as im normally driving pretty conversavtivily / as effieceint as possible. That is why i bought the nistune, so depending on whats best advised i may also run that switch like yours as i like that idea.
  16. haha yeah i could imagine. Pipster, isn't that a bit risky? What happens if the car detects knock but you have the ground un-slected or whatever and its running 7-8-9psi? I want to do something similar once i get my nistune installed, but i was warned agiasnt it for that reason. I also would like to say, i really hope to see under 10l per 100k after my nistune install, hi-flow panel filter and turbo back exhuast. All in good time though haha.
  17. Hmm i always rated Mobil. In my old car i would normally see about 50km+ more per tank with it?( in my first car, a Subaru liberty wagon)
  18. Okay, so what i think is a stock RS4 Series 2; My last two tanks are as follows: Tank 1: 47L and i got 430.7km-10.91L per 100k. This was with about 10% spirited driving and the rest a pretty even split between highway and urban. Tank 2: 56.2L and 519.3km-10.82L per 100k. This was with more spirited driving then last, however i also drove to Toowoomba which was about 2 hrs. and 15 minutes on highway at a average speed of 100kmph. The rest was suburban and city driving. All done on Bp 98 ron.
  19. Well i'm back on the road in my new stagea. First thoughts are great. Loving the day z front bar and the car also seems to respond better. Ie. boost comes on earlier, exhaust also has a deeper note compared to my last stock one. One thing though. after spending 10 hours detailing the exterior; I will never buy a black car again. Pretty sure my problem is called OCD, but cleaning it was a c*nt. If i touched on area with the towel harder then another area, it would show up. Then it got rained on today and so i had to go through the whole process of rinsing it, drying it and waxing it again, mostly for self satisfaction. Overall pretty happy with the car. Not happy at all with Nagoya. Apparently the warranty books etc would come inside the car....nothing what so ever, and the car was delivered absolutely filthy, i thought dealers often detailed there cars?

Hmmm guys, dont know if anybody else has taken any interest further into the pictures....but this car has no roof rails...so perhaps those inserts could be up for sale. Could be a good pick-up for anyone interested and that doesn't want to wait over 4 months to have them made up haha.... Back on topic now..
  21. Personally, id be seeking legal advice. You might end up in front a judge, with proof you have had the car advertised from date xx/xx/xxxx and the judge may reason with you and possibly just give you a slap on the wrist. In hindsight, they could not believe your story for one iota and off to the bustop you go... Sucks to hear about this mate. When i last sold a car i didn't let them test drive it without me in the car but for not one person but two, to get fines, and i assume not purchase the car, its really a kick in the teeth isnt it.
  22. Interesting, I have also just taken out another policy at $1600 a year, pay by the month. Rs4 at $17.250.

So so unbelievably jealous. I met a buyer the other day, by the name of mark(buys for prestige and j-spec all the time), so i gave him my number and told him if he ever sees one come up could he give me a call. Very interested to see how this comes along. Best of luck!
  24. Haha, I picked up the humour in this one . But 5 Speed, I wish!! It's just an auto unfortunately. But yeah, its got the tein coil overs and and 'Day's' Front bumper and badge on the boot Gate. However when i did a Fast on it, nothing out of the ordinary came up. You don't read japense do you, manager?
  25. Wow, i repeated myself in my last post with the " may be's" haha. Stupid early mornings . I totally agree with what you just said andy65b. But since i have nothing more contructive to say, or incase this is grammically wrong, i'll stop posting to avoid making someone tag me as illiterate.
