  1. Hey guys, Can anybody point me to a good repairer for my Nissan Stagea M35? My insurer has given me the option to choose my own repairer. I just had a prang in it because of a f**king garbage truck, impatience and a shit mood. Any help is much appreciated. If it helps, the damage is to my front right headlight, bumper and RHS fender. Cheers Scott
  2. Hey mate where abouts are you based? I have a helicopter and windows i would love to try this on. Feel free to Pm me.

Yeah, I thought the same and i did have a cracked vac line running from the intake to the solenoid that i broke. However replaced that vac line and still have the same problem. I am starting to think i didnt do a bolt or something to the correct torque (19nm?) so I will go back and tighten everything up and see if i can further trouble shoot this problem.

Hey guys, Bit of an issue with my M35. I have recently installed a shift kit and plenum spacer. After instaliing the shift kit... No problems. Car is working as advertised...although a very loud thud when kicking down gears around 100kmh's. However, after instaling the plenum spacer, the car's idle is very rough. It jumps and drops about 100rpm and the car shakes a fair bit. Has anyone else had this problem? Yesterday it managed to throw a ECL however I could not get the code from it. Trying to count the flashes just about caused an epileptic shock... So i reset it and the light has gone. Any ideas?
  5. Looks great anyway craig... I have something in mind to do with mine... though i think im going to trail the idea on my motorbike before i hack into the stagea's lights haha! What is the easiest way to access/ remove them? Through the wheels arch?
  6. Craig, can you tell me all about your headlights? Diy job?.. any projector retrofitting within them?

Looking at changing the colour of my dash fromthe grey/ beige to black and have managed to source a Black stagea dash. However upon arrival and inspection, its been bogged up to the shit house and isnt useable, so my quest has started all over. Has any one on here done the switch before and any pointers for me? My NM35 is a 03 model. Will a V35 of the same era, series 1+2 i assume, be a straight swap? Cheers Scott
  8. Hey guys, Fairly new to WA, I have a M35 stagea and a new (used) dash i want to put in however it is in need of some repairs, along with some other parts. I am wondering if anybody could recommend a quality interior/trim repair shop, of even a good upholster who may know off one. North of the river. Cheers Scott

hi guys, Doing a plenum spacer today, and the first hose i took off, i managed to break a plastic nipple. Need to know what i have broken though. My mechanical knowledge extends alongside 'knows and f**k all'. Anyway everything went as planned, except for the 10mm spanner now hiding in the engine bay somewhere and a 10 mm bolt. ( and snapped two bolts through rageing) So please, if you could tell me what i have broken, a part number to replace it, an aftermarket p/n, or if you have one personally, that would be great!
  11. Hi, Guys, I am chasing parts to change the interior of my stagea a bit and now i am in the market for a black floor carpet mould. Problem is, buying one from Nissan is something i cannot fathom, finding one from a black interior stagea that isn't cut in half (half-cut) or hasnt already been sold...is near on impossible. So i am looking at the V35 skyline..... I understand my chances are really small, but could anyone who is in the know, tell me if the floor carpet mould (front to the rear seats) is the same? Cheers

very interested....but cant go with my car off the road for that long of a period that would be required...removing the turbo is beyond my caveman skill set too i think..
  13. From a ADR perspective...yes. But it's not all that much worse then halogen beams stock. Ever been infront on a hilux with stock bulbs for example. Currently in plans to do a retrofit of projectors and HID's to my M35... Just plans at this stage..
  14. I have a set of these from the original group buy...must put them up for sale... feel free to make an offer through PM anybody.

Yeah, Thats a fair point. Apparently it's not the compliance that is the problem, it the pits for when it gets checked in order for it to get regoed. (WA) Even suggested using my own guy to do the pits to which he is saying no. :S Wouldn't recommend (insert workshop/importerhere) to anyone. No idea of customer service.

Sorry to bring this back up; but it is coming to the business end of the compliance. Car arrives at port tomorrow. Basically im asking again, does anyone have spare M35 headlights or a halogen kit? I need one of the two in order for the dream boats not to butcher the shit out of my headlights. I have asked him i want everything that is removed handed back to me without being ill-repairable. His response was, " No, as it's strict guidlines we must butcher it in order to show compliance"- What a load of bullocks! If it was a neat job it could be repaired with a quick soldering job surely. So If anyone read the above, and can help, please PM me! Cheer's Scott
  17. I do own a pair....That Darrinspencer currently has in his possesion...who i keep meaning to call( My apologies!!) that I will be selling due to the fact i know longer have a C34.

Yeahhh I know... But I think there's a fair bit more involved then just that... they literally drill a hole through the back where the factory hid's once fitted. I guess Ill further negotiate with the prick haha...unless someone has a pair of halogen M35 lights sitting about!

That and that there is no auto wash for the lights..... like the windscreen spray except for your headlights....another silly ADR

Yeah, had the same thing with my last two cars. Guy's let it slip as long as i said i put them back in ha. By sounds of it, my compliance guy is an old prick with a grudge for cars with HID's; to quote, " You know how bloody dangerous and annoying it is all these high end European imports with the lights that blind you"

Yeah i know what your saying and if it was as easy as that i wouldn't ask . The problem is though when they install the halogen lights...they butcher the dream boats beyond repair, I have seen it numerous time(Anyone care to differ?). I would have to buy the entire back half of the light again in order to re-install them. What i want is the flamin mongrel to not touch the lights which i have paid for. (Understood this is a problem with importing with xenon but no other compliance guy has had an issue untill this shiner!) I might go look at his cars in his yard and see to what extent he frankensteins them. Still...anyone with some other ideas is more then welcome to elaborate! Please Scott

Right, Soooooo the dream boats doing my compliance when my car arrives will not agree to turn a blind eye to the headlights and the fact there xenon. Apparently here in WA the car needs to go over the pits also? DOES anybody know a way around this? It is the absolute last thing i want to happen, both times with my last two stagea's the guys doing the compliance let it slide, not this prick though." Do you have any idea of dangerous xenons are!" "Do you know how distracting they are" 'Sorry mate, i want people to know im f**king coming so they don't hit me!!!!'. I need ideas people, even to the point of borrowing some butched headlights that have the poo halogen already fitted. HELP! Any will be appreciated. Cheer's!
