    R31Nismoid: ah i see... the r32 diffs are mechanical lsds also from my understanding (correct me if im wrong) so repacking the shims may work the experiences i have had with reshims came from viscous lsds so there would be a difference i think but good to know it may be effective to repack the shims!

    R31Nismoid: hey mate... do you think they are as strong/effective/etc as a proper 2 way though? the repacks i drove were following instructions off this site http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Di...Gt-t164288.html this wasnt repacked like nismo plates but the 2 outer shims making it virtually a locker now gtr repacking/reshimming maybe different and thus making it more effective than doing it to the other r200s

    ah how it was done was ripping apart 2 diffs and getting the 2 shims from the spare centre and doubling up the shims on both sides big difference between shim and a proper 2 way but im wondering if repacking clutch plates is more effective

    ive driven on shimmed vicous r200s before...they were terrible and singe spin half way through the day!

    yea...when i was taking the diff out of the car i used a breaker and pry bar and it felt so so loose! thats y im curious to see if repacking it with more clutches would make it a tighter 2 way or perhaps goin aftermarket lsd

    would it be better to re pack the clutch packs or buy an aftermarket 2 way like a kaaz? i got quoted (roughly) $300ish for the clutch packs and $250 for install as they wont let customers install it themselves intended use is for drifting, so im curious if this re packing is able to hold up to the abuse or will it start to open wheel after a while coz if thats the case a kaaz is cheap enough these days to buy brand new

    the c34 stagea has re4 box? whilst m35 has re5 box correct?

    would it be able to tow with that power levels? as in using a larger (lagier) turbo, how will that affect towability?
