I too am in the same boat ie i have never ever had a claim in over 10 years of driving.. But my question is (because i dont know how it works either) do they not come out and assess the damage when yuo ring up and tell them what is wrong/happened.. Ie lets say in this collision/crash if a intercooler pipe came off and after driving home, wondering why it wasnt boosting right, the turbos are then knackered coz somat got sucked up chipped a blade etc, would they fix it and the car without checking it over to see if the story tallys up?? I am just as curious as well...

Doesnt look that good an example hey.... He has deleted how many owners it has had and it aint the lux model cossy, although the earlier ones had the bigger turbo.. On the other hand it is cheap ish but remember uk cars suffer badly with rot, especially escorts around the subframes petrol cap etc And i aint heard of straight line performance before either (and i know a lot of car dealers in the uk, or have heard of a lot good or bad). Not got full history on a car like that??!!

Yeah get there details for the paperwork, ie drivers license etc but as long as them funds show up as cleared and i ams ure your bank will comfirm this if you ring. you can provide a reciept but tbh its not worth the paper it is printed on... But it does make people feel better
