  1. posted in another thread - but just for those who don't check that one: Taringa Hungry Jacks: silver R33 rego 247-KNO and a white silvia (didn't see the plate) parked at the eastern end of the carpark.
  2. was just up at Taringa Hungry Jacks and there was a silver R33 rego 247-KNO and a white silvia (didn't see the plate) parked at the eastern end of the carpark. Anyone from this thread?
  3. I'm THINKING about attending... we'll see. And no I've not seen the vampire chick flick. It or the books hold no interest for me.
  4. I think it's a bit too.... Holden... Makes me think of VKs I vote for sell it.
  5. i'm not sure about the demist. lost the brochure years ago I remember they had a lot of problems with the heater matrix on a lot of the cars though
  6. Hells yeah, love them! I do have odd tastes though. There are some cars that most people I know LOVE and I can't stand the look of.
  7. skins is correct it was ultra-limited. from memory it was designated an SSS-Spec Skyline (Sauna, Sunroom, Spa).
  8. in your opinion you mean. I LOVE the look of skylines, that's part of the appeal for me. And fair call about "my car can beat whatever car" being a complete wank of a justification. But "because I wanted to" will always be a good enough answer for me as to why someone spent their own money, on something that they wanted.
  9. I think that's great! I only like the style of ONE lambo. can't even remember the model, but it was designed to look like an F22 THIS is a lambo i'd buy. If they stopped doing the "oh look how itallian and inventive we are" styling and just made it LOOK LIKE A CAR! Maybe i'm slightly bias, as I have a soft spot for ponies... but still. Mustang body = win. Lambo engine = win. Why the hell not combine them?
  10. this whole thread strikes me as a tuh-may-toe, tuh-mah-toe. does it really matter who buys what with their own money? as long as they enjoy it that's the important part. Hell there's a million cars I'd never own, and be ashamed to own (N/A skyline isn't on that list btw), but I bet my list is different from EVERY single person that I know. If someone wants a car because they like the way it looks, good on them. There's a reason VW beetles are still popular as hell. This question is the same as "Why do you buy a 4wd when you never go offroad?" the answer could be anything from "I feel safer driving them in the wet" to "it's my money, and I wanted to". as long as YOU like YOUR car, and THEY like THEIR car. Who cares?
  11. the official reason was that i'm an "unwelcome distraction"... had been there for two years mind you... obviously i'm one of those stealth distractions
  12. LOL!! didn't mythbusters already debunk that one?
  13. hahahaha kinda makes me think of johnny cabs from total recall! haven't we already suffered through the trojan once?
  14. but didn't the BA come out in '00 or '01 ish? I'm pretty sure the AUII was up till '00...
  15. what else is there to do? it's not like we can nip down to the movies, or go to a school fete or something now is it?
  16. ahhh i remember when that model first came out, it was only another 3.8 million Yen for the sunroom add on. I always thought towing around a 8m2 room would drastically affect handling and stability. and i never really understood what you'd do with it at night time... but who am i to question nissan?!
  17. the 'favorites' there do seem like they'd cup pretty hardcore... so i'm tipping that you're most likely correct!
  18. lol fair enough. goes to show you can't tell a gtt from a gtr when it's doing 80 in a 60 zone and weaving through traffic like it's a fekking slalom course
  19. ok first off - there's a 4 door black 32 that lives on oxford tce, taringa near the cnr of whitmore st. rego 208-GIK - one of the nicest 4 doors that i've seen to date! monday night (20-jul) i saw TWO gtrs. one was inbound on airport drive at approx 920pm, black r33, rego 308-how/308-hwo, or something along those lines, very nice looker. wide body, low rider, and looked great under the night lights next was a white R34 GTR - inbound, kingsford smith drive about 930 - rego TOMMMY. BEAUTIFUL car. not greatly impressed with the way she was being driven , but the car was nice to look at!
  20. hahah no, i didn't cup any at all! maybe that's the problem!
  21. I was going to try and make it this week... but I just got shitcanned from work for being an "unwelcome distraction" whatever the frig that mean! So I'm not sure how much spare money I have for petrol and ice creams yet. We'll see!
