  1. I am reading a book at the moment, it is a by some dude called Mario Puzo. If in 6 months time the OP (someone who didn't know what the "E" in RB30E stood for) manages to pull off this build and put a big block $40 000 engine into a R31 I will drive down to Wollongong, set myself up in Crown St Mall with a fold up camping table and some water and publicly consume all 595 pages.
  2. This is a good explanation of the process. http://www.ironchefimports.com/site/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=17&Itemid=31
  3. Honestly, I think that the "comparison" table on the website is an absolute crock of shit. Seriously if you are going to do that sort of thing you need to compare your service to that of another company, you can't just say "other" because it is a cop out and allows you to write the whatever you want. For example "Q&A time: UniGroup Engineering-Maximum, Other-Minimum" what the hell is that? It is a little dishonest and reflects poorly on your company, if you really stand behind your service you should name another company and compare the two, don't simply compare UniGroup with an "other" company that may or may not exist who just conveniently happens to be the worst company ever. I think you should consider changing or removing this laughable piece of marketing. In the meantime please continue to enjoy free advertising under the "events" sections of the NSW sub forum.
  4. The love is better when it is chunky.

  5. A priceless insight into the murky world of used car sales.
  6. Time to design swivel mounted gyroscopic fuel tanks. You could call them "GyroTanks", since this is a problem that effects all cars you could make a universal "GyroTank" conversion kit. "GyroTank, GyroTank get your GyroTank conversion kit today" they would say. It could change the motor industry forever, you could also expand and have "GyroCupHolders" "never spill your hot beverage again with the new product from Gyro Co International the GyroCupHolder. I think someone here needs to take this idea and run with it!
  7. Did anyone else see chunkylover69 get a nice little mention on the performance forums thread, and by Seb Vettel no less.
  8. Proper Link http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/privat...id=1298860558DD
  9. I don't mean to be out of line here but you need "to down grade and get a little buzzbox" whilst at the same time you need "a bigger car for travel". Does something smell of fish or is it just those omega 3 capsules I just had?
  10. She was delivering tickets to the machines. Derrr.
  11. So what about this REG 267 Section 2b. I have never heard of it before but it seems to exist. Perhaps she continued driving without the seatbelt, contrary to the article.
  12. According to this website it is: http://www.austlii.edu.au/au/legis/nsw/con...08104/s267.html It is section 2b Austlii is a website apparently put together and maintained by the UNSW (University of New South Wales) and UTS (University of Technology, Sydney). Seems legit. Another thing is that this seemed to happen on private property. You would think that unless the operator of the car-park has an agreement with the NSW Police to patrol their property in accordance with the road rules of NSW the driver should be ok, especially given the above mention to the road regs. So....(if all above is true) wtf was the cop doing writing her up? Prick.
  13. Was curious so I searched Wikipedia for FQ400, "In the United Kingdom, many special Evolutions were introduced, including the FQ300, FQ320, FQ340, and FQ400 variants. They came with 305, 325, 345, and 405 hp (227, 239, 254 and 298 kW), respectively. Although Mitsubishi have not confirmed the fact, it is widely rumoured that the FQ stands for "f**king quick" Apart from that I have nothing else to add to this thread.
  14. 10k would be steep for a normal R32, but this one is JDM.
  15. Sorry if I missed it but whereabouts in NSW are you.
  16. Are you the guy who had the white GTS-T for sale in Corrimal about 2 months ago, the ad was on Carsales. The background in you photos looks familiar.
  17. AutoSpeed's Top 10 Must Have Books http://autospeed.com.au/cms/A_111061/article.html
  18. I have a job. Besides I am not saying that it isn't a great place, because it is. I am just making light of the questionable car culture in relation to the first post.
  19. Yeah, its madness. I think if you are doing a trade at Wollongong TAFE and don't get a 20+k loan to buy a commo/falcon you are the exception.
  20. I think it is because here in Wollongong we are a bunch of commodore loving, flat brim wearing room temperature I.Q morons. P.S. What do you do at TAFE?
  21. Hey there tbag, did you happen to buy this from AutoStyle in Hurstville a couple of years back?
