  1. Have you read my post above? Dodgy, dodgy, super dodgy. Kms are DEFINITELY NOT GENUINE ON ANY OF THEIR CARS. And most of the cars they have advertised on bay/Carsales have been sold, and they just try to put you onto another one. I can confirm that at least 10 of the cars they currently have advertised on Ebay under the name All Imports, or HCN are gone, yet they leave the listings on Ebay/Carsales.
  2. Damn Luke - I thought that was a bike Copper going the other way, and Chad said he thought he pulled you over .... that sucks balls! Did he do you for wheel offset too?
  3. in amazing news, the $A vs $US just went through the 90c mark .... it just keeps climbing!
  4. My V35 came from Japan with the trip computer telling me the average of the last 10 or so tanks was about 7.5km/l .... and lo and behold in the 3 tanks I have had it for I have averaged about 7.5km/l! 2003 V35 auto with 50,000km on the clock.
  5. Nice work Luke! Also, it is Cooper's 'sediment imbalance' day tomorrow and apparently there is shit on in the square across the road including Fitzy dressed up as a Coopers stubby holder. I might head in early for a gander.
  6. So, for those not in the know I now have my V35 and have sold the R34. Also, SAU:SA will contribute $100 to the cost of the new SAU:SA shelter, and I will cover the other $48 in my charitable nature, so everyone else is off the hook for that. So, when did we end up deciding to meet/leave? Can't be arsed reaming through the last 11 pages. Turns out I have an unavoidable work seminar until 12:30pm on the 23rd, so am hoping we are leaving Parafield around 1pm, which was my inkling.
  7. errr nice digging up a post from 2 years ago Tom ..... find a more interesting hobby please
  8. yep I will be making an appearance .... possibly with the +1.5, but will see .... won't have the V35 there though, as she is getting a better alarm, cruise control and my dual DIN DVD fitted.
  9. Thanks Karl - I am a bit in love with her too
  10. Dang, you must be pissed by now Dave .... but lesson learnt not to buy stuff for a Jap car from a V8 bogan speed shop .... especially when so many Jap traders have bolt-on kits ready to go .... In lighter news, finally found time to fit my carbon fibre engine cover and intake pipe yesterday .... and half way through fitting them my new axle-back exhaust rocked up, so I fitted that as well .... mmmm Titanium tips Has a very healthy rumble now too
  11. yeah $4.50 is a joke for a piece of paper .... if I had known that I would have just written a personal cheque
  12. Easiest job in the world if it is like the R34 (and a castor rod is the same as a Z bar).... 2 nuts from underneath near the wheel hub, and a double ended bolt/nut through the bush at the front and you are done. Just jack up the car, rip off the wheel and you will see how easy it is.
  13. It is so spammers cannot just come on here with brand new user IDs and spam the crap out of everyone like they were doing a little while back .... it is the same reason we implemented flood control to limit the amount of PM's you can send in a specified period too.
  14. It says the deadline on the form I am pretty sure Martin. Yes, I am going to the dinner and am quite sure everyone else would be too. Can't wait to hear about your Japan trip!!!
  15. Wow sounds like a great trip, but you will not feel your arse after so many hours in an R34GTR seat. And whilst The Great Ocean Road is very scenic, you and the wife will definitely be regretting doing it in a GTR. It is a damn long and uncomfortable trip in a nice cruiser - I can't even imagine the pain in the GTR. But hey, each to their own Have fun!
  16. Watched my R34 drive off into the sunset just now - new owner lives in Whyalla so won't be seeing her around
  17. Watched my R34 drive off into the sunset just now - new owner lives in Whyalla so won't be seeing her around
  18. Nah - John was picking up a new front bar and reo for his race R33GTR
  19. Nah James, was on my way home and saw Munro burning down Grand Junction Road when I was stuck at the lights. Gave him a ring and he said he was on his way to JIS so followed him there to say g'day. Should have seen the flocks gathered around the R35 at JIS
  20. In SA anything but the metal plates issued by Transport SA are illegal. No, if you live in VIC you can't have SA plates unless you have a postal address here in SA .... and technically that is not even legal, as there is a time limit a car can be in a different state before you are supposed to change the rego over. It is not particularly policed though to my knowledge (cops are too busy defecting us for dangerous illegal mods like pod filters and blow-off valves).
  21. Spotted my new baby along with Paul's 180 and Munro's R35 at JIS this arvo
  22. Nice one - is this the one from Perth that sat on Carsales forever? How much did you get him down to in the end? I looked at this one, but found a cheaper black one from a dealer in Sydney (so has warranty for what that is worth). I do absolutely love the Rays though!
  23. ah forgot to add that will most likely be stretching some 245/40/18s over the 9.5 rims, so will have a sloped sidewall - do you think this would then not foul the guards with 9.5 +12s?
  24. Why is this? When I run the wheels I am looking at 18" x 9.5 +12 through the offset calculator, it says inner clearance will be 1mm less and outer will be 37mm extended. I saw some 18" x 9.5 +25 Rays on a V35 coupe at a car yard and the offset was pretty weak - could easily have done with 10mm more. Can you 100% guarantee that 9.5 +14s will hit the guard? If so I might have to go for +20s, but they have less dish I want to go same offset front and rear (not big on the staggered look and want to be able to switch around wheels easily).
  25. Very nice setup you have there Geoff! Shame Chris didn't come down a few weeks later - I got my V35 Friday week ago. Ah well, will get the cruise off him and get my guy here to fit it when he chucks in my alarm next week. We will definitely have to catch up and get some shots of them together - I got a coupe in the end, not a sedan fyi.
