you could allways buy a cheap 4.8 with good running gear and then drop in the 7.3 litre V8 turbo diesel chev for about 8K. its a straight swap and the torque and power is huge with the chev, and still good on fuel. not many dramas changing from petrol to diesel just fuel lines and clean the tank, ecu comes with the chev engine and gearbox from the GU fits straigh on.

dont forget left hand drive with lift up doors, needs more room on the left to get out and get the door open and up

i know its not a skyline but worth the mention. a delorean at the first choice on N.E road. i didnt think there were any in S.A that were registered older guy driving it and still left hand drive. nice looking classic trying to upload pics from phone

tyre's are great this year, i still think they should run re-treads and the guys with the biggest hairy round things will see how far they can be pushed (be like the Adelaide F1 in 86) and develop good dodgy tyres. Also heaps of front wind and a lot less rear to prevoke a lot more overstear would be fantastic

I wear a personal monitoring device at work all day everyday to measure the levels i work with over a three month period.(yes i do get slight radiation burns from day to day from the rocks i am dealing with. one new report said that people near the reator got serious burns (this only happens if radiation levels are over 400sv for a period of over ten minutes. the average person is allowed upto 20usv per year and i average 400sv for the whole year. As Kristian said the isotopes that have been found have such a short half life that we have nothing to worry about.

bad news for all concerned over there but any involved all over the world with any industry effected. i am tied up with uranium study and production and hearing all sort of negatives about the situation. regardless of that anyone remember what happen with the dunlop factory in Kobe when they had there problems there. took years for production to get up and running again. About 20% of solar panels that we use here in Aus are made in areas affected and will yet again takes years to catch up. more important than all this is the loss of life and total loss of families.
