  1. Hehe making times could be a mistake with this crew. Nah if it's only you me and andrew on friday night then it will be easy. I'd say just whenever we are ready. Try to make it around 7 to 8 at Andrews. Will take you an hour to get to his from the CBD. But I guess we better ask Andrew if it's ok to meet at his first thou.
  2. Where are you coming from Duncan? Last time we met at Snowmans place as it's really the only place on the way and not out of anyones way.
  3. Ok we have my friends place for the weekend. Need to know who requires accomodation. We have 3x double beds and 3x single beds. Plus two couches if required. Drivers will get prefrence on beds. We will have to chip in a few bucks for the electricity and water bills.
  4. They never look under the car. Based on my experience, they check: Brake/ Tail lights cabin and boot space - for loose items fire extinguisher - they pull it out check date, but dont put it back in. slack return spring on butterflies seat belt condition windscreen wipers (if rain is expected) secondary bonnet strap It only takes 2 minutes. They are too lazy to get down on their knees and look under the car.
  5. Did everyone send in there form or fax it? Cause it says send it, but they provide a fax number. I might do both and mark the sent copy "a copy"
  6. Roy - I'm disappointed you didn't have me down as a starter! You know i'll be there.
  7. Adz, I told you to ring Toby and get it sorted. Listen to the stupid scottish bastard! Ferni bought a HKS kit from UPI not our kit from Meridian. So just goes to show nothing is perfect all the time. Even HKS can be crap.
  8. You could always come down to help us get through the slabs and for moral support.
  9. My Cheque to PIARAC for $250 bounced. I bet they love me right now.
  10. I might try to make this aswell since i'm there anyway. Would have actually prefered to do the HSV day rather than the MSCA. Dunno if I can afford both. Are you doing both Andrew? When is the closing date they speak of? Is it going to be $110 or $200???
  11. Yeah i'm keen. Did you send your form off today? I will send mine tomorrow (Wednesday) if your definatly in.
  12. What date is the of the Sandown HSV day?
  13. I'll go along.. Keen to get a few more hot dry laps under my belt, where i'm not worried about the geabox.
  14. So which is our next event boys? Did we get anywhere with HSV club yet Andrew?
  15. Thanks for the info on the boot Emre. Went to Nissan FTG and got it ordered same day pickup. $18.20 and it slides over the shaft quite easily with just a little lube. Turns out I lost 0.5 of a litre of redline lightweight fluro-blue gold. I might come down for a bit tomorrow night. Not going to SYD now till Thu. Oh and .....ah... Happy Birthday AdzMax.....
  16. Looks like I wont be able to make NDSOC meet 2morrow night as going to Sydney for work. Can someone please grab me an entry form? I will arrange to pick it up later. Thanks
  17. Yes, still for sale. Let me know when your ready. They are in the Melbourne Trading post for the next fortnight thou, so if you are interested be quick.
  18. I might take a photo later. The knob does screw off, but the shaft is way bigger than the hole in the top of the rubber boot. The shifter comes out of the gearbox by removing a sirclip. Geoff - If I got a boot that would side over the shaft, the oil would still be able to get out the top. Unless I cable tied it to the shaft. (But that's just dodgey, yes, I know thats what you would do.) Duncan - I think this wed might be an SAU meet. Snowman? correct me please?
  19. I'll be there. Lets go for it. Any one got any ideas how I can replace the rubber boot on my shifter? I pulled the shifter out on the weekend and it seems that the boot is made around the shifter, cause I can't see how it would streatch over the top of the shifter or over the ball at the bottom. Geoff you got any suggestions on this? Also Roy make a date for R32 repairs.
  20. Offset doesn't seem to be written on rim. Sorry dont know how to figure it out!! any suggestions? Still for sale.
  21. Cause we didn't have a 31. Cause 31 drivers in Melb need to get their ass to the track. I took this photo and if you look closely you'll see I have added the larger numbers cause I didn't know if you would be able to see the smaller ones.
  22. Yep, get it done early rather than later. I imagine the people involved could take quite some time to do your repair..... unfortunatly. I'll be sure to bring along the cheap burbon. Oh and piss off you aint getting any bits off my beast.
  23. Roy and Geoff - Let me know when your getting into it and i'll be happy to lend a hand. :bonk:
  24. Can you post another link or email this to me [email protected] Link doesn't seem to work and I would love to have a look at this.
  25. Here's some pics for you punters! Also we found out on the track day at PI that if yours is mounted in the guard you need to allow for air to flow through the cooler. I did this by drilling some small holes into the plastic guard. But EMRE had a better solution, which was to replace part of the plastic insert with an r33 gtst guard as this already has factory air flow holes that are pointing down to stop stuff getting into the guard. I will do this also when I can get a hold of one. As it was worth 10 degrees or more on the track.
