  1. I have recently been doing some upgrades to my car and my mechanic wants me too loose the stereo as to get the weight down to the minimum. He has already pulled the air conditioning system and heater core out. I rarely drive the car but want the stereo for the odd occasion that i do. Is it worth keeping for the two times a year i drive the car or should i accept the fact that he is infact correct and racecars dont need stereos..Its not like i can listen too it when i am racing anyway... am i just beeing a noob for wanting too keep it?
  2. if you want to run unrestricted ETs with no cage, take a drive down to Heathcote.

  14. This group buy starts immediately and will conclude on the 1st of January OR when 10 pairs (20 in total) are paid for, whichever is the sooner. We need to have orders and payment for 20 individual tyres in total for the price to stand. The product on offer is pairs of Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials (Drag Radials) in either 275/40/17" OR 255/50/16". We can have any combination of these sizes to comprise the order. The 275/40/17" sized tyres are known by Mickey Thompson as "blemished" stock. I have personally inspected the stock on hand of these tyres and they are incredibly hard to pick why they are listed as blemished. These tyres are cosmetically different (although usually un-noticable unless you're inches from the tyre) but are still 100% stucturally guaranteed. The 155/50/16" size are normal stock. The prices we will be getting for these tyres are as follows: 255/50/16" - $245.00ea - (MSRP is $283.00ea) 275/40/17" - $225.00ea - (MSRP is $311.00ea) The company that is supplying the products for the group buy is Rocket Industries The products can be collected from Wollongong/WSID by prior arrangement or may be shipped road freight at buyer's expense. Associated costs for delivery will vary depending on your location. These tyres can and will typically drop tenths, sometimes quite a few of them off of your quarter mile ET. They're usable on the street so driving to and from a race meeting on them isn't a problem. I drive 107km to the track on them, let some air out of them, race, then put some air back in and drive 107km home! Cheers, Adrian
  15. It is but each week there will be invited guests that don't have to comply with the 95db limit. Read below:
  16. Not really prepared to spend on the driveline to do that - was breaking too many rear end bits in the process. I still firmly believe it to be possible. PM Sent.
  17. NSWPF do not have badge numbers any more. Haven't for a long time. Surprisingly, they have names.
  18. LOL! My bad - obviously he has the watchmaker screwdrivers in hand waiting for you. Don't distract him from mounting my shifter though!
