  1. I got to the airport early and watched the parade of cars roll in and out for hours - great weather, perfect for cruising... Shame about the F**KWITS engaging in grass sports! Headed into town after coming home and chilling out for a while - eating lunch etc. Those two cops on road/trail bikes were doing WELL above 40km/h through South Beach back and forward for an hour and riding on the wrong side of the road AND up the footpath straight at pedestrians... Dicks. Town was a bit of a dud by that stage though Had a good day.. Adrian
  2. Nice going!! When do we get to see it at a race track for christs sake?!?!?! Adrian
  3. They'd be the tyres you've got under it then? My standard turbo 33 gtst went 12.7 @ 108mph late last year with numerous 12.9's and 12.8's in trying to get there. Adrian
  4. Numerous 108mph runs on the standard turbo by more than a few members of SAU. 111mph indicates about 280-300rwhp type numbers. How close am I? Adrian
  5. Sorry but I think road tuning is a nightmarishly thick thing to do or have done. No doubting the results as many have achieved good times and made good power with road tunes but come on, safety first no? Adrian
  6. Good on ya you goose! You know exactly what I mean. What rubber are you running on what wheels?!?!? Adrian
  7. Results thread??? Adrian
  8. Yes I hadn't thought of that! Perhaps some cheaper refills are coming dodgy dentists. I am using the Sulfur enriched version. Adrian
  9. About $100 however it seems some people are getting significantly better deals than me! Adrian
  10. So what car is it? Silver or Orange? Come one mate! Adrian
  11. I usually get about 14 passes before the performance suffers. This is due primarily because the bottle pressure drops significantly when it runs low and until recently, I didn't have the recommended bottle warmer fitted. These warmers maintain a constant temperature (and therefore pressure) using a thermostat and are a very simple electrical prospect. 16-18 passes down the quarter mile from full to empty on my bottle seems about right. When it's only (mainly) used in quarter mile applications it's a great value for money prospect involving little or no compromise in how the car drives daily. Adrian
  12. The car makes about 200rwkw without the gas as the above-mentioned boost levels and about 260rwkw with the gas. Two different DD dynos recorded 258.8kw and 259.1kw respectively in Shootout Mode. I expect more like 300kw with the new jetting but lots more torque. Can't remember the tractive effort figures off the top of my head though.... Does 1420ft sound right? Adrian
  13. I run 1.0 bar without the gas (best of 12.7 sec ET) and 12psi with the gas (best of 11.9 sec ET). Adrian
  14. Re this post; Building a motor wouldn't give me any more power than I have now without the gas. As I'm not hurting the car now, why 'build it'? Adrian
  15. I did doubt you, didn't i ?? I run 1 heat range colder (an 8) with my usual 0.8mm plug gap and they work great. Adrian
  16. Drifting??? Why would ANYONE drift when you could go to a nationally recognised drag racing meet andf compete. Ghey ar$ed drifters - get over yourselves and come to a REAL motorsport Adrian
  17. Sorry make that "80+++ passes at WSID, 50+++ laps at ECR all on the bottle as well as a few hours on the dyno over time AND the regular racing and street driving off the bottle. Driven this cars arse off for near 3 years with no ill effects. Ssshhhh....!!!! Adrian
  18. $100 to fill a 10lb bottle. How many runs you get out of it depends on the size shot you use. Longevity? How's 18 months on the bottle and near 80 passes @ WSID and 50 laps of E.C.Raceway sound with NO DRAMAS!?!?!?!? Don't talk about longevity... hahahaha.... Adrian
  19. You're speaking from experience then? What's aiming too high when I've already run 11's on 65hp gas? I never said how high I was aiming?!?!? If you're speaking from experience I'm more than prepared to listen...if you're not, well perhaps you could be a little more open-minded and learn something. Not having a go at you buddy but I copped a lot of shit when I fitted the gas but have run some numbers since then that I am more than pleased with at a fraction of the cost of a built motor. Hell, a fraction of the cost of pistons and rods!! Adrian
  20. Thanks for that. :bs!:
  21. I make the weight break by 51lbs Adrian
