  1. $240 in a Dunlop Supersport SP - 75% tread left in exactly what size you're after. Adrian
  2. And yes, the guy with the Red hair and red beard is a champ!
  3. Probably the only person I know who can say that sentence with a straight face. HAHAHAH!!! Adrian
  4. But I bet he had no problem believing it on the 14.8 or DNF runs C0cks are everywhere at those events. ...and Roy.... If you ever get a chance to drive a RWD car capable of 9.50's, please please PLEASE jump at the opportunity. Oh, and make sure we're all there to *cough* cheer you on! Adrian
  5. The commentator probably just saw "Supra Motor" and made the jump himself. Anthony (absolutely on a mission) is actually building a psycho 2JZ-TT in a full chassis hilux ute. Should be awesome. Adrian
  6. That red NSX gave me mahogany large time!
  7. That white 32 has a 7M-GTE and 3 speed auto in it and went 9.6. Driven (very well) by Dom Rigoli. Adrian
  8. Today: R/T - .186 60' - 1.887 330' - 5.163 660' - 7.816 mph - 93.80 1000' - 10.086 ET - 11.986 MPH - 116.41 R/T - .317 60' - 1.788 330' - 5.039 660' - 7.689 mph - 93.90 1000' - 9.955 ET - 11.852 MPH - 116.47 Previously: 60' - 1.697 660' - 7.734 mph - 92.46 ET - 11.959 MPH - 117.18 -------------------------- Just over a tenth in improvement but almost a tenth outside my best 60' time. These new tyres are better so with a 1.65 I'm hoping to see 11.70 as is. Adrian
  9. 60' was 1.788. That's why I reckon it has another tenth or two in it. I can get down to a 1.65 - I know it. Adrian
  10. That 20B was insane and went 9.08 @ 146.26 in the next lane. I couldn't hear my car for the first 100' - it was ridiculous. On of the marshalls came over to ask if i'd mind racing it. I simply asked if it had been going straight all day and when she said yes, I said hell yeah. Adrian
  11. Intercooler pipe blew off twice in a row resulting in a major vaccuum leak after the AFM. Car = no worky Fixed that problem with an extra hose clamp and a shit load of huge cable ties and then developed a misfire but this cleaned up on my last qualifier which was completed without the bottle. Once the car felt right again, I went out with the gas and ran an 11.98 with the car bogging down badly on the launch. Gave it a bit more on the next pass and went 11.85 @ 116.47 mph. What started out as a terrible, shitty day became good things turned around and I went quicker than I ever have. I firmly believe there's another tenth or three in there yet. Thanks to all of the people who lent a hand or offered help when it all looked very bad. You're champions. Adrian
  12. Baaaahhhhhahahahahahaaaa!!!!!!!!!
  13. Can someone please bring a trolley jack?
  14. None of you read the 1st post properly. Valent, I'm still waiting for a price to tune 2RISMO with the UFO dampeners Adrian
  15. Didn't think you believed in those types of calculations??? Adrian
  16. Check out the phenominal effort of the Carlos rb26 powered tube frame Nissan Sentra. It ran 11 passes in the nhra and ran a best of 7.787@176mph on gas weighing 2400lbs. this car features: stock block stock connecting rods stock pistons stoct head gasket stock cylinder head stock cams stock cam gears stock timing belt stock crank stock intake manifold(slightly modified) upgrades: suprs(2jz) coils motec ecu dry sump oil pump ATI Balancer 81mm turbo -10 fuel rail liberty 5 speed tranny liquid intercooler passes 10.790@ 88.26 8.554@ 144.67 8.072@ 166.62 7.971@ 169.06 7.953@ 168.35 8.248@ 163.29 8.176@ 158.50 8.010@ 155.61 7.944@ 157.15 7.835@ 174.99 7.787@ 176.15 This info taken from SDU - I am trying to verify some more details and perhaps a link to the complete car specs. Awesome looking bit of gear anyway. Adrian
  17. Sounds to me like proper tuning with aftermarket management would be a good start. If you don't intend to double the power output during the rebuild process, I'd stick with Nissan OEM stuff and spend my money getting and keeping it reliable. The pistons in RB's will take much more power than what you're suggesting you make right now so as a matter of priority, I'd investigate the reason the motor popped number 2 in the first place. Is your fuel pump stuffed? Is there another, bigger problem? Good luck buddy Adrian
  18. Spokey Dokeys ROCK THE PARTY!! You just went up a notch in my book, Chris. Now you're at notch one! Adrian
  19. Mate, honestly I wouldn't even bother with a bleed valve. They all spike and suffer when trying to hold boost up the top of the rev range. Save your pennies and get a Turbo Smart E-Boost. They're on super sale at the moment for $600.00. Remove the faulty bleed in the mean time. Adrian
  20. I've got nothing to hide The tiny amount of line from the solenoid to the fogger makes sfa difference. Until very recently I had all 3 solenoids hanging off the back of the fogger but it became more trouble than it was worth. i.e. the weight on the back of the fogger made it forever loose in the inlet pipe, the jets were a prick to change (which we're doing more often now) and getting to the plugs and coils is much easier now too. I'm a natural born poser so I don't want crappy looking black hose everywhere. :kick: They make and sell a few of them. There were 2 cars getting them fitted while I was there and they have them on the shelf. I think they're about $1500.00 Adrian
  21. I did the nitrous setup myself and it cost just under $1000. The plenum looks sexy as hell in person with ridiculous hours having gone into the design of it. I wish I had the talent and patience that Paul has. Incredible stuff. Adrian
  22. You can't prove anything!
