  1. Take my advice, stay with what you're using. Make sure they're gapped to 0.8mm and be happy Adrian
  2. That's all the sticker goes up to on your window but they stop marking it Adrian
  3. Not if you're using street tyres... They are designed to work at normal driving temps. at the track, you start on the water. rev it hard in 2nd then drop the clutch. you will find that they smoke up real quick but like i said, totally unneccesary. Adrian
  4. Shit, are you serious? Is this a universal statement? Handy bit of car trivia that is... Adrian
  5. Throw up, THEN shoot yourself.... Adrian
  6. I believe chrome-moly flywheels are stronger for their whole lifetimes as opposed to the std flywheel which, when machined, is no longer as strong as when new. Can someone confirm that they (std) have a tough outer layer or coating that makes them stronger till this wears away? Adrian
  7. Was good to meet you at DC Rnd 1. Was stoked that you took out the AWD6 class too!!! Will definitely see you at DCFinal. Not long till you get into the 11's, mate. Anything been done to the silver beast since your last runs? Adrian

Look on car-o-liner's website for locations: www.caroliner.com.au or www.car-o-liner.com.au i forget which. dunno on cost but they have the details on chassis dimensions for more cars than you've heard of and their software gets updated all the time so they're really up to date. Julie (the boss in aus) was a customer of mine for a while. 1st class operation. Just look for a smash repairer that uses their gear. no idea on cost dude, sorry Adrian
  10. REV210; Ogura Flywheel (i think the 4.8kg one) - $$$ ?? Super dooper single plate clutch - $$$ ?? Also, are they more inclined to last that long on circuit cars as opposed to drag cars? In terms of clutch longevity, surely drag work does more to shorten the life of clutches and flywheels etc... Adrian

  13. Sydneykid, red210 etc.... What are your thoughts on the OS twin with anti rattle that Sydneykid has suggested bearing in mind that I don't care if it rattles as long as it lasts and puts up with the hiding I give it. i.e. is the anti-rattle function ONLY to avoid the rattling sound or does it have a higher purpose? Adrian
  14. No need to do a burnout on street tyres. But it sure is fun Adrian
  15. What would you suggest for a street car (my gtst) that gets its arse caned every other drag meet - slipped from 5-6krpm regularly - and generally smashed and abused at every possible opportunity? Adrian P.S. That car's your hero? What is it?
  16. He smashed his diff to BITS!!! Trailered home Hey judd, make sure the jap guys don't tune your car with a 10.8:1 AFR as is so common. Otherwise you'll become really quick at changing plugs in a short amount of time. i.e. after driving to and from the shops. Adrian
  17. Errr.... Hope I haven't stepped outta line but I kinda went and gee'd the Streetcommodores.com community up for an SAU vs. SC battle. Step up Skyliners!!! Adrian
  18. Nope, not driving an hour past the track in the other direction Adrian
  19. Interesting. Wonder why the heck he was a tenth slower than his times with no nitrous and whilst running nitto's ?!?!?!?!??!? Curious bordering on dodgy. Adrian
