  1. Why oh why is it an auto!!! Sadfayse Would you swap for a good R33 with a tiny (and I mean tiny) amount of damage to the front right corner + cash your way? Perfect base for a track car, or only a tiny amount of work required for roadworthy.
  2. I'd prefer leaf springs for towing/carrying. Wheels don't toe out when the weight sinks the back. Not to mention the XR towing capacity far exceeds the SS. And I'm pretty sure there are extractors ut there which don't require the engine out now for XR8s. Look at Herrod, Di Filippo and Blue Power and the prices of exhausts, fitted, are much the same as 6's and SS's. And in all reality the handling of the XRs is as good as the SSs. There's little between them and they both have their strengths and weaknesses..
  3. Exactly. Just because the government says it's right, doesn't make it so. It's our duty, as an engaged memebr of society, to question and challenge our government at every turn. Become complacent and before you know it you'll be working for your government, rather than your government working for you (as has already happened).
  4. I agree, although I do not agree about the Holden part. Ford utes >> holden utes. XR6t FTW. GL with the sale. BTW, Focuses are ball tearing little cars. If only I could bear to live with a front driver!
  5. $4,000 with the EMU. Anyone? I need a sedan! Interested in swapsies with cash your way. Keen on an R33/R34 4 door, XR6 turbo, XR8, must be manual. Will go up to ~$12k your way depending on car.
  6. My advice is, anymore than a mouthful is a waste. And you need to L2English. Oh, and +1 for ask your damn insurance compeny.
  7. whose *$&% was so long, he could suck it.
  8. There once was a man from Nantucket.
  9. Check the gnew price. $4,000 for a car requiring very little work for roadworthy. Happy for people to come and inspect after ~6pm weekdays or on the weekend. Gizza call on 0418 994 629 if keen.
  10. No one looking for a cheap slider/track base or a cheapo GTST car requiring little work to get on the road?
  11. I will, if I sell the car. But for now I'll hang onto it in case I decide to hang on to the 33.
  12. There's a light bit of damage to the front right. It's cosmetic only, ie. the rad support and reo bar are untouched. You could either flatten out to guard on it now or pick up a astraight second hand one. Either job wouldn't be hard. For roadworthy I predict it will need the following: Battery 4 small holes in the exhaust filled, or a new rear section possibly a new windscreen probably front tyres as they rub on the plastic inner guards at full lock horn reconnected boost tee removed an air filter for the stock air box That should be it. the car is straight, it's quiet, it starts perfect, first time, blows no smoke, revs perfect, pulls hard, brakes perfect and so on. The only reason I'm not goign to fix it is because I need a 4 door for a potentially growing family in the not too distant future. And I also simply do not have the room to fix it. I live on the side of a mountain and don't have a garage.
  13. Hi Guys, I've reported my topic in the For Sale section (Whole cars) 4 times in the past 4 days requesting the original be changed and nothing happened yet. Wondering if this will ever get done? If you could please change the $5500 in the topic to $4500 that'd be great. Cheers.
  14. Going up on Fleabay tomorrow. Will kick off at $3,500 with a $4,500 reserve. If someone buys it here before I put it up I'll throw in the EMU and all and any spare I have here such as a full set of braided brake lines and whatever else I can find.
  15. WTB new home for my R33. It'll cost you a measly $4,500 to fulfil my wants.
  16. That looks like Ballina. Nice car. GL with the sale.
  17. No one looking for a cheap, good nick 33 which needs a tiny bit of work to get roadworthy?
  18. Dude, put the 26/30 into your Fairlane! Can anyone say "LOLSLEEPER!!!" That would be very cool Oh, and Pre-empting the "big fat heavy" people, the 6 banger NC weighed almost smack on 1600kgs from the factory which is about the same as a 34 sedan so it's really not that heavy. In fact you may even lose some weight switching from teh 4L to the 26/30, altho with the extra turbo gear it may work out to be pretty similar. If not, GL with the sale
  19. 13b turbo. Very light, capable of huge horsepower. You could even dump the turbo. An infinitely easier build, lighter again and still comfortably capable of a couple hundred horsepower
