  1. bump! Taking reasonable offers.
  2. Beat this for a driveway from hell I've lowered the car since and it just touches the driveway before my tyres hit the driveway...all good with 0.000001mm clearance
  3. Had my heart set on a 350GT-8 sedan until I spoke to this guy at the import caryard who told me to stay away from them as they were expensive to repair.. Reading the above confirmed it...so what shall I do now...does the 350GT sedan come in standard 5 spd auto?
  4. question you should be asking is why has this car been sitting for 2 yrs and not complied...do not under any circumstances part with any $$ until it is complied and registered...or you might end up with a whole heap of useless metal. Personally I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole as a lot can go wrong even with a car thats been sitting for 2 yrs. Plenty of other fish in the sea.
  5. R34GTT standard wheel specs are 17x7.5 +40 Use that as a base when using the wheel offset calculator. 2dr and 4dr use the same specs. I have run 8.5 and 9.5 +35 all round and still have a bit more room to move...say 5-10mm If you are running wider guards +20mm then subtract that from what is recommended...I would personally be a bit more conservative and maybe subtract 15mm instead of 20mm... With those guards you should be able to run 350z or even GTR offsets (have nice dish!)...approximately 8.5 +15 9.5 +20 Best to get your guards on first so you can measure how much room you have to play with based on the wheels you have on now... If you need some ideas of suitable offsets for stock guards, have a look at my collection Click on the archived months as well. http://www.n15m0.blogspot.com
  6. farkn I went around a few newsagents and all I could find was issue 88 so I bought it and its not in there! Can someone scan and post it up???
  7. No problem in changing the front bars, you will just need to buy new indicators for the front...nismo clear ones can be purchased from some of the SAU traders on here..
  8. My advice would be to ditch the JICs and get something with softer spring rates...Try some Tein Super Streets or the Bilstein setup in the group buy section. JICs are notorious for giving you a bad back..I had them previously on my S13 and they were bad.
  9. Approximately $100-150 depending on postcode...
  10. Check out these puppies...perfect for a 34...coz they came off a 34 Well within your budget too! http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/18...-S-t202082.html
  11. Ok...this might be a longshot but it worked for me with my brand new set of teins...jack the rears up and spray the coil springs with WD40...try this before you do anything else to it. Let us know how it goes...

    R34

a 34 NA is no more fuel guzzling than a 6 cyl commodore...and should definately be much better compared to a rotor.
  13. can u tell us who else is in there??
  14. Almost forgot I had these... Jamboree 2005 show n shine, my first year of owning the 34...
  15. They are different.

  20. rhymes with penis....not my cup of tea sorry...you should buy my wheels instead http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/18...-S-t202082.html
  21. strong double sided tape will do the job..
  22. are all ur seats fked?? ie: front and rear? There was a guy selling front n rear 34 seats on the forum no so long ago for not very much...Insurance would probably cover it but the excess would probably be more than 2nd hand seats..
  23. Good choice...being an R34 owner for the past 2 years and test driven the V35 recently, if given the above choices of the R34NA and V35 250, personally I would have gone the V35 too... Hate to admit it but 34s are starting to pop up everywhere nowadays and are soon going to be like the 33s... both in their stock form are pretty gutless but the V35 would be a much newer car and has more of a pimp, luxury factor over the 34... Enjoy ur purchase and post some pics up when you get the chance...a nice set of 19" jap wheels, kit and lowering will be all thts needed to set you apart from the crowd !
