Those links I posted were only for the sedan...coupe ones are available too...try searching on ebay US. Waz got one not too long ago for his coupe...not sure from where..

Sorry my mistake...I think the bootlid and tail lights were not series specific but more year model specific...2001-2002 and the 2003+ models had different bootlid and tail lights...so you were right..if u looked at a 2003 and a 2006, they would have been identical from behind...but S2 only started in late 04 models. the 02 models had the center thingo in the middle of the bootlid...the 03+ ones are smooth and had different design tail lights...does not neccesarrily mean its a Series 2.

if you can find a series 2 (late 2004 onwards) that would be the best. Updated interior and aluminium center console nicer looking shifter with the leather boot bose CD/MD as opposed to CD/tape Intelligent Key (keyless ignition) Auto headlights full leather interior (rare) reversing and front cameras 5 spd auto (tiptronic) updated rear tail lights and bootlid updated front bar sunroof (if ur lucky) Thats about all I can think of now..good luck in ur search!

The above profiles are only suited for 17s...if you use it on 18s it will increase your overall diameter and throw your speedo out. In QLD, it would be illegal due to it being more than 15mm above the factory rolling diameter.

am currently in Malaysia now and so far I have spotted more V35s than R34s That said in answer to the initial question, I reckon the 2005 would hold its value a little more than the 03 model..

I believe, S1 Bose stereo is CD/Tape, S2 is CD/MD (with the aluminium surround as shown in above pics) Also S2 has the intelligent key & keyless ignition with buttons on the passenger and driver side to lock/unlock doors. Mine is a 12/04 series 2 which I believe is the earliest of the s2 models.

Its actually a 12/04 model but a series 2 with all the upgraded interior trim, frontbar etc...in the US its classed as an 05/06 model. Factory 17s unfortunately which will soon change...

Someone should get a bodykit shop to make a mould so we can do a group buy locally. Will need someone who has an existing lip for coupe and sedan

great idea... Spotted a silver V35 in my side mirror today driving along Logan Rd heading to Garden City...you were turning into Newnham Rd.. Also last week, spotted a V35 coupe in my identical lakeshore blue color travelling along padstow road...it was a lady driver..

If you filled up with 72L means that there is approx 8L left in your tank dude. No one will ever manage to fill 80L unless you run your car bone dry till its empty. My quotes were approximates only and based on the assumption that I would be travelling at 9km/L for the remainder of my fuel tank (which is highly unlikely). Technically thats what the fuel computer is used for...telling you approx how many KMS you have done and how many more you have to go. I will be able to give you a more accurate reading after I fill up again the 2nd time taking into account how many Ls I top up and how many KMs I have travelled.

Another +1 for Chris Rogers...he's done all my cars and my alarms have never played up. For under $500 get him to quote you the basic mongoose unit...should fall within ur budget.

I found out what the plug does...it disables the intelligent key and makes it stupid I unplugged it today while at the lights just to see if anything stopped working...after getting to my destination, turned car off, got out and tried locking the car with the button on the door handle..didn't work..tried locking with intelligent key, didn't work..so I used my backup autowatch remote to lock. Came back, same thing, key fob didn't work, unlocked with autowatch and couldn't start the damn car!..was having nightmares of being stranded down the coast and remembering the thread on faulty key fobs...then it dawned on me to connect the plug back to my rear view mirror and hey presto everything works again! tried unplugging it again and testing my theory and yes it made the key stupid again. Anyone here have a S2 sedan with the intelligent key, try this out and see if does the same
