agreed, with the above. lots of people think of similar ways around a problem, so it is products are going to look similar from time to time. Did RIPS sell one of their kits to Spool? assumption is the mother of all f*ckups. no disrespect to either of Rob or Brad - both create great products, but even if it is the same as your Rob, what do you have to ensure only RIPS produces this kind of work?

VG38? do you mean VR38? besides, i like the sound the RB makes so its good that we are seeing development along this path. i think one day someone will shoehorn the VR38 into the 32,33, 34 skyline body - but just think of the cost!!!

also spotted a White R33 GTS-T travelling down Captains flat road on Saturday arvo near wanna wanna road, I was in the gold XC90 but didn't get time to wave.

I'd say it happened late last night on a dew affected road and a bitof speed. will wander over later for a closer look

Spotted a Silver R32 GTR wearing TE37's driving into Queanbeyan (under railway bridge, yass RD) this morning about 8:15am. have seen it a few times before, very much like mine (sounded nice too) Also spotted the Silver R34 GTT again going past the airport toward QBN about 8:20am

not quite - a lot of RB26's run upto 600hp on stock internals, most important thing for any engine is the tune. don't think the stock 1JZ injectors would give you enough head room to push that hp (even with raising the base Fuel Pressure with the FPR). for instance, I have a setting of 22psi for my RB26 (using HKS GT 2530's). still think the !j conversion will be great though

good project, the 1J should give you a nice hike in power over the RB20 are you going to stay with the stock twin turbos, or change to a big single? are you using the Toyota trans?

not an easy job. best done when the turbos are off (that;s when I did mine). when you are doing it, its best to remove the enitre rear pump wheel that holds the fins, the rear steering lines and the Hicas controller that sits on the chassis rail under the plenum. you'd e surprised the difference this makes when changing an oil filter! the steering loading up can be caused by the steering wheel not being aligned properly with the locator, or you may need to reset the system (process of reversing a couple of meters, then the same forward - there is a DIY on here somewhere).

he should have to take it home, sit in in the driveway and think about what he did.. and then part it out like the rest of us shmucks that "f#%k up" to pay off the loan and have to drive a shitter around. BEST COMMENT HERE!

spotted (followed) a silver (series 2?) R33 GTS-T about 8am travelling from Queanbeyan past the airport and turning off to fyshwick (onto monaro). Had a DTS sticker in the middle of the back window - car looked good

everyone I spoke to said they may have mild steel stocked, but they had to buy the stainless in 3 meter lengths. given I only wanted a short section, they were not interested. Cheers Kat, I'm getting to the point where I am thinking of just supplementing with mild steel... I have a track battle against a hot s4 and elise comming up and can't pull a no show Hi Cameron, if you have any I'd appreciate if you can let me know!
