  1. do these have an annual fee? if so, what is it?
  2. it sounded and looked good Nick
  3. nice Grey R34 GTT with white work emotions stopped for roadworks near the turn off into ridgeway (outside Quenabeyan on Kings hwy). dark haired chick driving looked good, damn those roadworks, but your car gets filthy!
  4. spotted Friday about 2pm - silver R32 GTR (lots of stickers) on Rudd st civic (turning into the tunnel under the waldorf), sounded nice. Saturday about 1:30pm - Gun grey R32 GTR driving past hindmarsh/ canberra ave lights towards qbn (running quite rich) today 8:40am white R33 GTST with white TE's and semi's out the front of customs house
  5. no - 20k was based on engine build only (and not a broken engine mentioned as a starting point). so I would calculate the build on an already running 26 requiring upgraded internals such as pistons/ rods/ bearings/ bolts. (obviously additional things like gaskets, machining). me, I could not justify 20k using stock crank on an Engine build inc stck cams
  6. if you are staying std capacity, i'm sure a build with A/M rods/ pistons would cost less than 8k. the smaller turbos would be running hotter inlet temps, therefore requiring better cooling when they are pushing the higher boost. still can't see 20k in the engine for 400kw @ wheels??? LOL - think Paul answered it nicely no way I'd pay 20k!
  7. 20k just the engine!?!? or total? surely others have built a 500kw engine for less?
  8. seems a little low to me too. strange that he could not squeeze more boost in with a new EBC... mine has GT2530's, compliance cat and pods (all else stock) and made just shy of 300rwkw on 17psi. (stock turbos made 230rwkw). keep at it mate
  9. Agreed, there is no notional % loss applied to otherwise it would be wildly different between std and high power GTR's. Brendon - what varience in boost levels are you talking abou to pick up an additional 20kw?
  10. spotted Scott in the R34 last night at the roundabout near west queanbeyan vet
  11. nice cars, but there is just so many AM part for the skylines... think the fact of availability has something to do with it...
  12. are these the parts that go across the top of the window? (like from the mirror, up to the roof and back down the B pillar?)
  13. buy this one it sounds great! http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/privat...1&silo=1011
  14. Very nice Scott - very tidy looking machine
  15. Not good that the turbo shat itself, at least it should to be too horrendous to have it rebuilt. I honestly feel my car performs better with the M's pods over the airbox (which makes sense when you take into account the surface area of the filters and the mouth design of the pods against the stock box). Critical thing is the get pods separated from the hot engine bay.
  16. Blue R34 GTR heading under the railway bridge into Queanbeyan this morning about 8:45am. looked good!
  17. are you going to replace with stock or aftermarket? Bummer
  18. jus buy one that you will want to drive everyday without fear of it breaking/ crashing it... as mentioned, get a 'regular' one
  19. black R32 GTST with front mount and red interior (not to my taste) reid CIT. P plates and dented right front guard
  20. nice silver R32 GTR near convention ctr in Civic yesterday arvo. looked like it wore BBS rims (from across the street!) I reckon it needs to be a little lower
  21. black R34 GT-T at russell this morning 8:30am. nice rims, no spoiler
  22. I have had the front pipes off a few times, and didn't experience any trouble getting them on or off each time.
