how is my engine modified you idiot? Does it have forgies, cams or anything like that? NO. To run a 12.5 itd have some sort of fuel computer, exhaust and intercooler. Supras dont lose traction anyway cos there such boats. His engine may have been stock, but it has 1/2 a liter more displacement and another turbo. Go back to the Neon and big stereo forums dickhead!!!

Um first to silverbulletr33, read before writing fool - I stated it had a Cheap Highflow turbo. The fact is that I ran over 20 runs in that car running sub 12.9 second passes and two of my best passes were 12.5. When I bought the car with just an intercooler and exhaust I was running 13.3s. I think the car had a 12.3 in it, with better tyres, cooler night I possibly could have got a 12.3 in it. And speaking of driving it 100 percent, I was getting 1.8 second 60 fts on my best runs. On 18s!!!!!! Some GTRs only just get that. The RB25 is just as capable as a Rb26 in my opinion. Just because it doesnt have a twin turbo manifold doesnt mean you cant get power easily.

Macross I can assure you that everyone in Vic knows what my R33 was running it wasnt making even near 300 kw at the wheels and people have watched it and I even have the video of it running a 12.5. Its called a Capable driver. Stock injectors, stock dump pipe, stock blow off valve. Since when did R33 weigh 1500 kgs

Far superior engine and you ran 12.5? My near stock R33 series 2 with a CATBACK exhaust, Cheap Highflow, Unknown Remap and 13 Psi ran a 12.5 at 116 mph. PLUS I did it on super low profile 18 inch street tyres not slicks like you have shown. RB POWER baby, and I drifted the shit outta it all the time too. I think thats actually a GTT skyline with Widebody panels and the Ugly Blitz Fender kit. beleive me ive seen that in real life on a GTR and its one ugly peice of plastic. If not that it could be a GTR that had the front end written off and motor damaged.

Looks insane. Remember guys these are standard cars. Standard previous model skylines (bar the GTR) didnt look crash hot in standard form either. That is one nice peice of machinery. The reason why they wont bring that in over a Maxima is that the maxima costs considerably less. Tell me who in australia is going to buy a 100k Nissan thats not an out and out sports car. No one. Most of the guys who buy Maximas are company managers, executives. Some of these top managers only have like a 60-70k Car budget and a optioned out Maxima is one of the most luxurious things on the market these days (my old state manager had one) without stepping into a 120k+ european car.

I like it. Its a small passenger car and its finally moving from boring sedan styles to something a little more futuristic. When You think about it, Lancers shape have been damn boring for a long time. The current model lancers are nothing short of Hideous, they look Korean spec to the max.

Honestly, some young drivers with High powered imports think its just jealousy. Why do you feel the need to jump in a skyline straight off? Most V8 commodore blow the doors off stock skylines did you know that? A Mitsubishi 380 Hire Car I had blew the doors off my mates 32 GTST off the line, on the run and the 32 had a full exhaust and filter as well. If I was in your situation for the money, Id buy myself a KE70 Corolla and dump a 4AGE motor in it with usual mods, cams, ecu, fuel pump. coilovers. Youd have an absolute screamer power to weight, be able to destroy commodores and actually learn HOW to drive. You would have so much cash left over to bust on nice wheels and a paint job plus the fuel money saved and the 200 dollar 3rd party insurance bill. Driving and thrashing in old cars over the years has given me the best experience I could ever get.

I know of 5 people with R33s that have had claims denied. They would probably let it slip if you hit a 6k Excel or Commodore. Not an expensive car. Im not one to take risks.

If you want a skyline. A. your not gonna keep it legal B. your not gonna drive it around like an excel. Also worth noting, having one on your Ps is not only illegal, but it Voids your insurance. Despite insurance companys willing to cover you, when it comes to claim time, they will not honour it as you were driving an High powered Vehicle. So If you were to hit a 100k Merc and they investigated due to the large payout you could be up for some serious bills! Honestly man , you can do better than a Skyline!!! What happend to buying up a older performance car and building it up- if you have a budget for a R33, you should have a budget to build up something way cooler. Plus it will be legal and you will embarass slower R33s!

Youve gotta get in the spirit of things there. I personally like using the term at times It has and always will be a traditional V8 car show. And In my opinion I hope it stays that way.

James all these are valid points. But it just annoys me when people make generalisation and give there opinion about the scene when they not even a part of it. You dont see me or others going around talking about the SAU scene. No ones Perfect. Then you get People Like Dezz who come on and shit talk and dont get there posts deleted and you get peoples Valid posts that have no bagging, no accusations, no smart arse talk deleted. I have been driving for the last 6 years and been a part of many clubs and forums and I dont need a tyrekicker accusing me of something I didnt do. As a Mature person this is why I Feel the need to post up. Slowly I have moved away from SAU due to this. There are a lot of good guys in the Club and I dont know why some of the crap thats written on here is allowed, it just tarnishes the clubs image.
