  1. The 3.4 kit is done by Spool import's in QLD http://www.spoolimports.com/content/RB34DETResults.asp look's to be a hell of a thing, i've spoken to them and the best bet seem's to be to send them a block and have them do all the work
  2. i'm getting 1 of these early next year, some very cool looking lid's and very good price's... http://www.gasimports.com.au/product_categ...x?categoryID=24 Cheers Jon
  3. do ya have a LHF hub??, doesn't need to be 100% gunna re-bearing any way Cheers Jon
  4. Still remember the day the Bum Med was invented, was due to a follow thru....! and the need to race commando in Frenchy's borrowed race suit...
  5. [quote name='PAV34' date='9 Nov 2010, 12:36 PM' post='5540029' It is still for sale on White Hot's website for $88k, so not sure whats going on there. That would be because John's Daughter used to do the website, and she has a full time job and 2 kid's now, so it doesn't get updated... if your really worried about talk to Clint at Performance Paint and Panel in ulverstone, he does all the White Hot panel and paint work of there race car's, so i recon he would have done any work on the roady.. Cheers
  6. Yeah it did get poked for a few part's over the year's, it was mainly suspention but the front and rear bar's and the boot lid did get used at rally Burnie 1 year..., but when ever the event was done it would all get pulled back off the racer and refitted to the roady, and new stuff ordered for the racer.. it was Big John's wife Annie's daily road car for 3 or 4 year's, luckliy Jason never got to drive it so it was never thrashed, pretty sure the $150K was for the Race car, when it was sold by White Hot pretty sure it when around 60-70 large
  7. if it's the spare White Hot R34 GTR N1 V-spec 11, then it has a heap of good bit's and was mainly driven around during Targa by Big John's wife.. never shunted and well maintained... but only if it is the car we speak of, but i haven't seen it for 3 or 4 year's, and i don't know where it's been
  8. it took me 5-6 hour's to do my first 1, which was drive in hoist, CV's out, prop shaft out, pop the diff cover pull the centre, pop the pinoin, then new bearing's 3 or 4 goes to get the pinoin height right same with back lash.. Take's about half hour less each time, far from a hard job just gotta take your time and you'll knock it out no drama.. Cheers
  9. All the shit turned up for it yesterday, they new 2 week's ago but eh gear only just turned up...
  10. Try Jake Crawford his phone number is 0417 655 812, and to offset your cost's i'll buy the gear's that are in the diff if there 4.3's Cheers Jon
  11. yep there on the import's at the moment, in the last week we have sold the following 3x R33 1/4 glasse's 1x R32 rh door glass 4x door lock set's 5 or 6 Subaru door glasse's 5 or 6 Subaru ignition barrel's and 1 WRX gearbox and diff.. scum bag dog phuck's..
  12. i just unplug the bleed wire in the RH kick panel, and let the pump pulse with someone in the boot tipping oil in, while i crack thre bleed nipple on the transfer but then again most GTR transfer's need a good rebuild by this point in there life, when we measured up my spare box it needed 90 thou worth of shim's to get it back to almost factory spec..
  13. as in the 1's that go in the tie bar under the Rad???, or the top 1's??? pretty sure there the same as N13 and N14 pulsar.., so just rock down to ya local wrecker
  14. got 1 in perfect nick came with my new 26 all your's for $75, PM me if your keen I'm located in hobart Cheers Sorry just noticed your a noob and can't PM, so TXT me 0417 156 234

  17. not harder to do with the VL turbo box, just harder to find the VL part's is all...
  18. Almost but not quit, the VL turbo has a slightly diffrent bellhousing dew to the starter motor, it's to do with the starter motor's bottom bolt being about 5mm further out, this is why True VL Turbo's have a diffrent starter motor and also a diffrent engine sandwhich plate, and the VL flywheel has a colar around the back of the ring gear, and the starter motor has no snout on it... If your ever in Moonah drop into Moonah Auto Part's and i can show you the diffrence.. Cheers Jon
  19. Chasing a set of front and rear 4.3 diff gear's, really only want the gear's but will take the sump and rear housing if need be.. Cheers Jon
  20. Spotted A peral white Stag with 34 GTR wheel's, and a full set of Brembo's.... made me moist...
  21. Pretty sure Yt isn't running due to the double hernia operation he had 2 week's ago...given that he done TWP, Mt Buller and Targa all against doctor's order's, he probley shouldn't..
  22. I'd be checking with someone local in the know Ollie, because even with the brake package you want those cylinder's are still way to big, i help out with an R33 GTR in Targa Tasmania which has X champ car Brembo 8 spot's on the front and AP 6 spot on the rear, and it run's 11/16th front cylinder, and 3/4 rear cylinder, and even then we had to change to a softer pad because the pedal was a little on the firm side. And yeah that is cheap for your pedal's, did they come with cylinder's??? if not checkout these guy's, i buy all my brake gear off them, they're UK based so it take's 3 or 4 day's to arrive, but very good price's... Cheers Jon http://www.compbrake.co.uk/
  23. Risking is right wait till you decide on caliper's, but even when you do 1 inch and 7/8 are way to large for anythink i could think of.... i've fitted up 1 or 20 pedal box's, and your more than likely gunna need around 5/8 for the front and 3/4 for the rear. did you go for the hanging pedal's for any reason???, with the amount of floor mount's around these day's, i point all my customers in that direction.. cheers
  24. I with ya Jack, Andy done my car last week stock standard 32 GTR with 128k's on the clock, made 230kw's, and is better on fuel now than it was with the standard ECU
