Yeah that seems right to me.... maybe mine thinks it is always cold outside and is using the heater all the time over 18C? And the lowest setting of 18C is always cold regardless? Hmm

No, not a stupid question. You get it into diag mode by holding down the off button and turning the car on right? I tried it and lots of crap comes up, how do you interpret what displays on the screen?

Okay Alexcim I'll have a look, thanks for going to the effort of marking the pic! Auto/torque converter has pooed itself though in the meantime - feels like a slipping clutch in a manual and can hear metal on metal sound, not good. Getting this attended to atm.

Update: Got another climate control unit from wreckers ($350), didn't fit, different plugs on the back, same number of pins but just slightly different so don't fit. I guess the S1 and S2 stageas are different there. Wrecker is going to try to find one from a S2, don't fancy my chances though. Might have to try Nissan, can't imagine what it would cost...... Had a look at the temp sensor (to the left of the steering column?), seems OK but I don't think that would be the problem seeing as the problem is the same in auto or manual mode? Hmm, might have to live with it for a while.

Hi everyone, quick question about my climate control unit. When it's on 18C (manual setting) it blows cold air, all good, but when i turn the dial to raise the temp it starts blowing hot air i.e. on 19C and above it's like the heater is on. So I can be freezing or cooking, no in between. I'm guessing it's stuffed, does anyone elses do this? Is it likely to be the unit in the dash thats all bad (something electrical perhaps) or could it be anything else before I spend the $350 I was quoted for another dash unit? Thanks

Hi guys, Dean here, I've got a 98 neo rs (rear wheel drive only). Used to have a r33 (Ska might remember it from a skid pan day, hi). Stagea is awesome, wagon rocks and the neo is a thing of beauty, tiptronic is alright too... Probably not much into cruising anymore but wouldn't mind seeing a couple of other stageas.

I bought Initial D Mountain vengeance for the pc from my local Harvey Norman on Saturday for 20 bucks, and an impulse buy steering wheel for 80! Pretty fun but you get through all the tracks too quickly....

High flowed standard, I bought second hand off a guy through the garage where I get work I can't do myself done. Apparently it's a "stage 5 high flow", whatever that is supposed to mean. It's a bit of an unknown, produces the power alright though I suppose, 291rwhp, so gives a little lift over what people are achieving with the standard turbo. I think it was flowed by Aspley drift and drag or some other shop up that way...

I went out tonight, got there early to get as many runs in as possible before crowds turned up. Scott you might have seen my white 33 off to the side of the assembly area, I was leaning out and knocking at the top of 2nd and 3rd so my last run was at 5:27. Did however manage some good runs...

If the manual turns up and your emailling it around I would love a copy too... please...
