  1. Well, "looks" is a personal opinion. And it's a diffuser. IE: It's not all for looks. Personally I think it looks damn tough!
  2. Yes I had the balls to bring this thing into the country, fitted it, damn it looks so farking hot it's unbelievable but I'm having second thoughts about it now. This is a diffuser made by Abflug in Japan. Made of fibreglass (I think), with a real carbon fibre finish (for appearance perhaps?). It sits a fair bit lower than the stock lip (about 40mm) and actually bolts up to the stock lip itself. I've installed it but only driven it from the workshop to home. It has absolutely not a scratch on it, no blemishes, nothing. It's as good as brand new. I've decided to go for an AP 6 pot brake kit and could do with selling this as I think it's a little too low for my liking for track work at the ride height I like my car set at (IE: I love a no finger gap between the tyre and the wheel arch). I got it through JDMyard.com which are really good mates of mine and got it at a mates rate price of $1500 shipped to Sydney. I am willing to lose a bit of cash as I have fitted it on so I'm after $1300 FIRM. Here are some pics of it on my car: And here are the official Abflug pics (so you can see underneath). And here's a pic of it on a car that is pure pr0n! I'm in Sydney and will consider shipping (at your expense) though it's not going to be easy to ship!!! PM me or email justinATaustralianinfront.com.au As the price says, it's firm so please do not be offended if I don't reply to low offers.
  3. OK how;s this then. You all know how kids are scratching graffiti into glass these days right? Well, there are now a few companies who buff out the scratches in the glass. I'll be contacting them as soon as they open again. The fingernail deep scratch in glass = no hope... is now a thing of the past!
  4. Another option would be race glass? Plastic?!
  5. Mr. Keets: Hahah. Nah man I didn't get them. Someone else nabbed them up before me! I'll look into a new glass window from Mr. Nissan. Will report back on the price.
  6. Fair call on fixing the felt pads guys. But how much does a new window cost? And can I get one from say a Windcreens Obriens rather than Mr. Nissan?
  7. Pretty simple? If you're scared of defects then leave it stock.
  8. OK guys, question answered, thaks heaps. Richard I just realised my cage is in the way of that vent in any case. So it looks like I'll have to put it elsewhere lol!
  9. OMG they are so hot. Location? I'll be the first to make an offer (if that's OK with you). $2k! Cash ready RIGHT NOW.
  10. paulr33: True I don't really "need" it. It's more a "want" than a need. There's lots of things in my car that I perhaps don't really "need" but I like them (stereo, strut braces, carpet, body kit etc etc.). But thanks for the reply! Much appreciated.
  11. Hi guys. As some of you might know. I removed an AVC-R and replaced it with a Blitz unit. The AVC-R was in my dash and apart from doing it's work to control boost I also used it to read boost levels (peak too). I've mounted the Blitz unti out of sight in the glove box, now I have no boost gauge. I'd like to put one in the round drivers side air vent (R32 GT-R) but my question is: Can I install one? Sorry if it's a silly question, but I just thought that a separate boost gauge might not work since I've already got the Blitz unit installed. Newbie I am, that's why I'm asking you lot! Thanks in advance for any light.
  12. Can we just get glass from the windscreen obriens or something?! If so I'm going to do this too. Noticed scratches on a few R34 GT-R's as well. BAD DESIGN NISSAN!
  13. Yeah jake the EVO is absolute bullshit isn't it? It's too easy to drive on a track... ridiculous really and it drinks more fuel than the GT-R (and it's stock!). Yours looks so nice, decals too!!! Rally yo! Here's mine:
  14. I've had it for about 2 years. It's in 100% working condition, the only thing is I painted it black so that's why I am selling it cheap.
  15. Went for Blitz as my tuner suggested I go for it during a tune, turns out it was a cam timing issue and had nothing to do with the boost controller. Now that I have the blitz in there, and tuned I can't be bothered ripping that out and putting this back in even though it does suit my interior as well as act as a boost guage as well (which I now don't have as my blitz unit is in the glove box!). $400 firm Xmas price drop
  16. Will not be posting the graph in a hurry dude. It's in my car which is in a workshop getting some trust rear pods painted and fitted
  17. Feels a bit scary now in all honesty. Will wait for a track day, got done for 3 points today in the EVO. Damn it. Time to slow down and see the year out
  18. Item: Apexi AVCR boost controller Location: Sydney (eastern suburbs) Item Condition: I've painted it black to match my interior. Reason for Selling: Bought a Blitz unit. Price and Payment Conditions: $450 Extra Info: It comes with EVERYTHING, the box, instructions the LOT! It's all boxed up and ready to be shipped at buyers expense. Contact Details: PM or email justinATaustralianinfront.com.au Pic of it in the car:
  19. Hey Pete, I ain't sure of the cam timing values. I'm not that technically minded!!! But yes it was all the cam timing. I don't think it was the boost controller at all as hitman says he likes AVCR's. I've ripped mine out though so will be selling it asap.
  20. OK EVERYONE HERE'S THE UPDATE!!! Took the car to HITMAN (Matt) today. Super cool guy! First thing he did was just a dyno run and guess what? We got 321kw at the wheels with Indy's tune. OK, hitman's dyno is a 2WD dyno, Indy's (IS Motor Racing) is a 4WD. It looks like there's the reasoning behind the power figure difference. After a lot of playing around with the cam timing we brought the power down to 293kw at the rear wheels but the power is coming on a whole lot earlier. Lots of mid now, a lot more like BeerBarron's dynograph, also with a very very stable boost line too. I took the car straight to Indy's dyno again after hitman, same day and we dyno ran a 266kw at all fours! So that 293 on hitmans is 266 on Indy's. So, go figure? Car feels damn amazing now though, so much response WHOO HOO! I don't care too much for the power up top, but I'm loving all this power in the mid range. Perfect.
  21. OK we found the boost controller unable to keep up with the rpm's, something like that. It also had a hard time holding consistent boost. Re-checked cam timing. All good. We've ripped out the AVCR and put in a Blitz boost controller. Will be more testing and tuning tomorrow and will report back!
  22. GTRsean: Blacked out projector lights! Nice nice!
