  1. Was a great night guys. Good to meet a few of you (wish I could have met all of you!) and damn I learned a lot! I've got photos and a whole feature up on Zen Garage: http://zengarage.com.au/2013/09/sau-suspension-tech-night-at-heasmans/ Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong in any of it!
  2. Looks like an awesome day out guys. I've put a feature up on Zen Garage: http://zengarage.com.au/2011/09/20/sunday-sessions-eastern-creek/
  3. Not been on SAU for years, just got pointed to your build via JDMST and had to chime in to say CONGRATULATIONS! My fave local R32 GT-R build by far. Amazing!!!
  4. Guys these are in the parts section too but they were for my V35 so I thought I'd post it in here too. SSR MS1 20x9.5 +10 Medium Disk (77mm) 20x10.5 +18 Super Low Disc (103mm) Gray Silver 5 Hole 114.3 PCD $4800 I had these custom made for my V35 Skyline which I sold for my Golf GTI so they're up for sale (if they don't sell I'm keeping them for my future 350Z Project!). I just dropped in to JDMyard to take pics of them and damn they're ridiculously hot. Nuts!!! No low balls (but you've got to have some big ones to buy and fit these), not going to lose any money on these at all so don't bother bargaining with me. In Sydney, ready for pick-up. Will ship if I have to (you pay for shipping). Onto the pics! SSR goodness. Rear wheel. Baller Status. They're HUGE! Got dish? Step lip. Front wheel. Paint detail. Rear. Front.

  6. Tyres are worn on the insides but fine (I have no intentions of changing them yet). No contacts to get it to Brisbane, why not fly down and drive it up? Perfect highway car!!!
  7. Super hard car to sell or is it a bad time to sell right now?! Price drop! $30k not a dollar less. That's DAMN CHEAP and I'll be losing $5k!!!!!
  8. Agreed, would be so much more fun in a manual! I test drove a VW Golf GTI (DSG) yesterday. I loved it, so price drop to $34k!
  9. Ivory Pearl. Interior is a really comfy place to be. Bose stereo with built in 6 stack CD player + MD player + iPod dock with wheel controls. Brand new Tein Super Streets. My fiance Christina and I have started a VW Golf forum. I've been on the forum every single day since it started and I NEED to buy a Golf (and modify one) in order to truly be a part of the forum not to mention I can't carry bikes in my V35. I've put the car up on carsales. Yes I am asking for a lot. I don't feel the need or want to lose cash on this one. I'm in no rush to sell it, and happy to keep it if I can't sell it (but I'd really like a Golf!). Details as follows: Vehicle: 2006 NISSAN SKYLINE V35 350GT Price: $36,000 Kilometres: 25,766 Colour: Ivory Pearl Interior Colour: Black leather/suede Transmission: 6 speed Semi-Automatic Reg Plate: VQ35 Reg Expire: JUN-2010 Full car diary here: http://forum.jdmstyletuning.com/showthread.php?t=21485
  10. Entertainment Quarter / Fox Studios carpark. Have to pay but it's always been good to us for JDMST meets.
  11. Long shot, but any chance we can make the venue a little more central? Say P6 carpark at Homebush? If so I'm in (I'll be coming from Maroubra Beach).
  12. Ah awesome. I'll suss it out. I know a lot of people would hate on the idea of the chrome handles but I personally think they add class to the car, which is the direction I'm headed in (big and heavy 20inch rims to come!).
  13. ^^^^ Niiiice. Want to sell me your chrome door handles?
  14. Hi all, I've just picked up a 350GT for my daily drive (I love it!). I'm a little torn between simple power mods (I've read up on plenum spacers, Z-tube + intake and I'm pleasantly surprised at how cheap it is to make some more power and gain response from these engines) and suspension. I was wondering if 350Z coilovers will fit a V35 350GT Coupe? I know the wheelbase is a little longer on the 350GT but I'm not sure on specifics. I'm sure I've read that they will fit, but perhaps on a US web site? I've search here but failed to find any related threads. Thanks in advance for any help.
  15. Indy from IS Motor Racing fitted my one. When we fitted it up there was a situation where we weren't sure if it fit right or not. A quick email (with pics) to and fro between myself and ACPT and all was sorted (all we had to do was have faith and tighten up the main bolts all the way). I can't tell if the shaft made any difference to the car as I got a whole lot of modifications done at the same time. Some pictures:
  16. Item: Stereo Gear Age: 1 year old Condition: Everything works, missing cables and remote Price: $100! To Fit: R32 GT-R Skyline Location: Maroubra Sydney NSW Contact: PM Comments: Cables and remote control for deck missing. Do not ask me specifics, you can see model numbers so use Google to find out more about each product. All of it fits on to an R32 GT-R. The JBL's are made for the stock side door speaker holes and the Pioneers fit on the R32's funny sized parcel shelf! What you see in the pics is what you get, no extra cables, etc. Deck remote control is missing somewhere and can't be bothered trying to find it. Not sure of specs, so use google and do searches for the specs as I'm sure all the specs are out there. Everything is in great working condition. Pick up from Maroubra.
  17. I have $10k saved for this, lol. shit I'll never make it
  18. There is no "Junior Spec" available here in Australia. It has been re-branded for our market and is now called "N+ Spec", which of-course, is still made in Japan.
  19. The best coilovers I've ever owned were TODA FIGHTEX. I had them on a DC2R though, not a GT-R.
  20. Dave I've heard nothing but good things from the Tein Flex. It's old now though and will be (if not already) discontinued I think, being replaced by the newer Monoflex. The Tein Flex is more on par with Buddy club's Racing Spec Damper but it's more expensive. Buddy club's N+ is more in line with Tein Super Streets but has all the features of the Tein Flex and it's also cheaper than the Super Streets and a lot cheaper than the Flex. Since Buddy club is in Australia now, you get a 2 year replacement warranty which means that if you were to break your suspension, they would replace it (ie: not just fix it). If you were going to make a track beast I'd go the Buddy club Racing Spec Damper or Tein Super Racing or Tein RA (also now discontinued). If you want to keep it fine on the street, but also great fo rthe occassional track day I'd go with either the Buddy club N+ or Tein Monoflex (Or old Tein Flex) but I'd not even consider the Super Streets as they're just too soft (in my opinion of-course) for the R32 GT-R. PS: I run Tein RS on my GT-R. I did have the complete Whiteline Works package on there before, with Bilsteins and adjustable sways, and found the whole Whiteline set-up ridiculously crap!!! Too hard on street (just was not right, rebound was all wrong) and way too soft for track?!
