  1. Amazing how many people have first dibs on my R33 Brembos lol.
  2. Cool guys. Will just fit them then and see how they go. Duncan - Check UAS for pricing. Those G4 brakes that Just Jap sell are just ridiculously cheap in comparison.
  3. Hi guys. I'm looking into these goodies for my R32 GT-R at the moment. Would appreciate your opinions: Brake bias controller for my 6-pot AP's: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=153693 Lightened pulleys + tailsshaft: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=153711
  4. Hey guys. I searched hard and found a lot of people who were interested in the Greddy Pulley Kit (standard direct swap sizes) as well as a lighter, carbon tailshaft but no reviews at all. A hell of a lot of speculation and physics lessons were found, but no one actually left any real reviews. I've linked up the parts in question below. Would appreciate your comments, experiences, opinions. I'm sure some of you out there would be keen on these items as well. GREDDY WATER PUMP, ALT AND POWER STEERING PULLEYS MADE FROM DURALUMIN (A2017) ANNODISED BLUE FOR R32, 33,34 GTR. LESS THAN HALF THE WEIGHT OF FACTORY STEEL ONES FOR IMPROVED THROTTLE RESPONSE. UAS ONE PIECE TAIL SHAFT FOR NISSAN SKYLINE GTR. LESS DRIVE TRAIN POWER LOSS, MORE RESPONSIVE - LESS LAG. WEIGHS ONLY 9KG COMPARED TO FACTORY ITEM AT 14.5 KG SUITABLE FOR R32 AND R33 GTR
  5. Hi guys, The brakes on my R32 GT-R have always been crap. The R33 GT-R Brembo upgrade is slightly better but they just don't deliver that punch that I'm looking for. I've taken the plunge and bought 6 pot AP fronts and 4 pot AP rears (full kit with rotora, brackets, fluid etc.). What I need to know id what else do I need? The kit comes complete with everything I need to get them onto the car but do I also need to get a stronger/larger/upgraded booster? And I am very curious about a brake bias adjuster for the cabin too. Any advice on that (what brand, where from?) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  6. Shit I missed it again! Since I watch little tv I miss it every damn time bugger!!! At least I managed to catch the Victoria's Secret show last night though hehe.
  7. Saurus f**king wow!!!!!!!!!
  8. Rear bar sold. Front still available!
  9. Hi guys, I have used CUSCO front and rear tower bars for r32 $100 each pick up in Sydney.
  10. http://www.myspace.com/foxjustin That's me!!!
  11. OK, offer for SAU forum members, got to go! $900!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Cheers Pete. Trial and error is expensive sometimes but I've never regretted it.
  13. pnblight: Yup agreed. Didn't hurt for me to try it, only cost me $110. If anyone wants to try the modified pipe (welding is perfect!!!) for the same price I paid for it ($110 shipped), let me know.
  14. I guess I was?
  15. OK I got one!!! It's been welded so beautifully too with very smooth proper flow design inside. I put it on today and noticed no difference at all!!! Anyone want it? I'm taking it off again.
  16. Awesome! I didn't think you could buy these Nismo/Willans harnesses. These are definitely 2inch not 3inch. And yes have quick release clips. Here's the 3inch model (I can't find them for sale anywhere though).
  17. Bumpage, yes it's a serious bit of kit. It's not cheap, so I never expected it to sell fast, but there's got to be the right buyer out there somewhere. No takers? No offers?
  18. Yes exchange only: http://www.ag-y.com/intekupipe.htm So, apparently better turbo response?! We could all do with better response!!!
  19. Abflug do make a matching rear diffuser too. So do Top Secret. You'd be looking at $1500-2000.
  20. BUMP! Very curious on this too as I've seen it in Jap. mags.
  21. Hehe Mr. Keets, who's X-Speed? I'd like someone pro to take mine out. I'd never do something like that DIY. Cheers in advance!
  22. Regarding the speedo: I need a speedo for 93 model... seems like most for sale are for 89's
  23. There's heaps of estimation in this thread which really doesn't help anyone at all. I seriously doubt eliminating HICAS is 20kg's worth. What is good though, is that you have a target weight figure. That helps a hell of a lot. Get it weighed, then start from there... it'll make it a lot easier. The R32 GT-R in dead stock form from the factory showroom is 1480kg's. That's a heavy mofo. The Group-A racing cars were 1200-1300kg's. The N1 version (only a few made) were the same as stock but without ABS, boot lining, stereo, rear wiper/motor + aircon to save weight (surely not that much weight savings there). I haven't bothered with saving weight as it's been so easy to add power but I have taken out some carpet/tar, rear wiper/motor, rear seats, belts, lighter seats but mostly I've added a whole lot of chassis stuff... full cage, bracing up top and under the car too. After a weighbridge at Mascot (you pay $22 to get your car weighed) I got a figure of 1480kgs! So spot on I've managed to keep the same weight as stock but have a gazillion mods on the car. I'm baffled as to how they get their cars down to 1200kg's though. I know I can save a fair bit if I took out: Aircon (anyone weighed this yet?). ABS (works pretty crappy I find on an R32 in any case). completely remove hicas (rear wheel steering rack). lightweight battery stereo But that's a fair bit of commitment right there. Something I am thinking about in any case. Shame that when I put 6-pot AP's on the car my weight will go up again... 355mm pizza sized rotors have got to be heavy!!!
  24. I took it off the car today at IS Motor Racing (these guys also fitted it). It's got 2 light scratches under the lip (can't be seen from the front, only seen from under the car on a hoist). So, price drop $1000.00. Comes with full instructions, and bolts/brackets to fit.
  25. Can't believe these haven't sold. Free bump!!!
