JLH is half the reason I'm a brunette fan, the other half is Penelope Cruz. Having said that there's plenty of mega-sexy blondes out there, all else being equal I prefer brunettes but I'm certainly not going to reject a girl just because she's blonde. On a related issue I've seen lots of asian girls who dye their hair blonde. I've never seen one that looked good that way.

Definitely jealous that I didn't make it, if it had been the following week I could have organised to be there. Oh well, by next year hopefully I'll have upgraded my GTR a bit from the near-stock state it's in now.

Mate the whole point of this thread is for people who love GTRs to talk about why they love them. It's subjective, not objective, or to put it another way, it's a matter of taste. It's like with drinks - you might think VB is the greatest drink ever made, but I think it's poison, and nothing you can ever say will change my mind. We're not trying to make it sound like all other cars are inferior, even if they are (jk). You're welcome to your opinion but if you want to debate the merits of GTRs versus other cars you're in the wrong thread. We've already decided GTRs are awesome, you're wasting your time discussing other cars.

I was exactly the same, when I drove mine for the first time I reacted the same way. When I'm buying a car I try to be nonchalant and not let on how much I like it, but I couldn't keep the smile off my face.

Ditto. He's pretty much performing as I thought he would, good but not great. There's a reason F1 drivers retire in their late 30s, you start to lose your edge at that age, even the "great" Schu. Definitely should have stayed retired but I guess hanging out in his elebenty-million euro castle was too boring. I don't think he's going to see out his three years either, I think that "other commitments" will lure him away at the end of this year. The stats were always against him, in the 60 years of F1 only a handful of races have been won by drivers over 40. The last one was Nigel Mansell ... remember his "comeback"?

Schumacher's comeback is going much as I expected. He's too good a driver not to do well if the car's at all decent, but a few years out of the sport combined with his age was always going to count against him for the championship. I thought he might fluke a couple of wins but now I doubt even that.
